Athletes Untapped LLC ("Athletes Untapped," "Company," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information.
This Privacy Policy describes the types of information we may collect from you, or that you may provide, when you visit AthletesUntapped.com (the "Website"), create an account, communicate with us, apply to coach, or otherwise use our services. It also describes how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect that information and the choices available to you.
This Privacy Policy applies to information we collect:
Through the Website;
When you create an account, complete a form, or otherwise provide information through the Website;
When a parent or guardian provides information about an athlete in connection with our services;
When a coach applies to, or participates in, the Athletes Untapped coaching network;
In email, text messages, and other electronic communications between you and Athletes Untapped; and
Through cookies and similar technologies used in connection with the Website.
This Privacy Policy does not apply to information collected by third-party websites, applications, or services that may link to or be accessible through the Website, except to the extent described in this Privacy Policy.
The Website is operated in the United States and is intended for users located in the United States. Information we collect is processed and stored in the United States.

Children and Minor Athletes
Athletes Untapped provides services to athletes of all ages, including athletes under 18. This section explains how we handle information relating to minors.
Accounts are for adults
The Website and account registration are intended for adults. Accounts must be created and maintained by a person who is 18 years of age or older. A parent or guardian purchasing coaching for a minor athlete should register using their own name and contact information.
We do not knowingly permit children under 18 to create accounts, make purchases, or provide their own contact information through the Website.
Information about minor athletes
To match an athlete with a coach and support the coaching relationship, a parent or guardian may provide information about the minor athlete, such as:
The athlete's first name, or first name and last initial;
Age, age range, or grade level;
Sport or sports of interest;
Level of play, experience, or training goals;
General location, such as city or ZIP code, used to identify nearby coaches;
Scheduling and session availability; and
Other information the parent or guardian chooses to provide about the athlete's training needs.
We use information about a minor athlete only to provide and support our services. This includes identifying and matching coaches, arranging and managing sessions, facilitating communication between the parent or guardian and the coach, responding to support requests, maintaining session and transaction records, and protecting the safety and integrity of our services.
Information about a minor athlete may be disclosed to the coach selected for that athlete and to service providers that help us operate the Website and deliver our services.
How we do not use information about minors
We do not use information about minor athletes for personalized or interest-based advertising.
We do not include information about minor athletes in advertising audiences, custom audiences, or audience-matching programs, including Google Customer Match and Meta Custom Audiences.
We do not sell information about minor athletes, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising or targeted advertising.
Children under 13
The Website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information online directly from children under 13.
Parent and guardian choices
A parent or guardian may contact us at community@athletesuntapped.com to review the information we hold about their minor athlete, request that it be corrected or deleted, or ask that we stop further collection or use of that information. We may need to verify that the requester is the athlete's parent or guardian before acting on a request.
Deleting certain information may mean we are no longer able to provide coaching services to that athlete.
If we learn that we have collected personal information directly from a person under 18 without appropriate parental or guardian authorization, we will take reasonable steps to delete it. If you believe we may have collected such information, please contact us at community@athletesuntapped.com.
Communications with coaches
Communications arranged through the Website are intended to take place between a coach and the athlete's parent or guardian. Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising their athlete's participation and any direct communication with a coach. Information a parent, guardian, or athlete chooses to send directly to a coach is received by that coach, and the coach's use of that information may not be controlled by Athletes Untapped.
Information We Collect
We collect several types of information from and about users of the Website.
Information you provide to us
Depending on how you use the Website, this may include:
Name;
Email address;
Telephone number;
ZIP code or general location information;
Sport or sports of interest;
Account registration information;
Information about a minor athlete provided by a parent or guardian, as described in "Children and Minor Athletes" above;
Information you provide when searching for, communicating with, or booking a coach;
Information you provide through forms on the Website;
Records and copies of correspondence if you contact us;
Information you provide when reporting a problem with the Website; and
Other information you choose to provide to us.
Information that you choose to send directly to another user or coach through the Website is also received by that person. Their use of information you voluntarily provide to them may not be controlled by Athletes Untapped.
Information We Collect from Coaches and Coach Applicants
If you apply to join the Athletes Untapped coaching network, or participate in it as a coach, we collect additional information from you.
This may include:
Name, email address, telephone number, and mailing or service-area address;
Sport, coaching experience, playing history, certifications, and credentials;
Profile content you provide, such as a biography, photograph, rates, and availability;
Information submitted as part of an application or screening process, including information used to conduct a background check;
Information necessary to pay you for sessions, such as payout account details collected by our payment processor; and
Communications between you and Athletes Untapped, and between you and athletes, parents, or guardians through the Website.
Background screening is conducted by third-party screening providers. Those providers collect and process information directly from you under their own terms and applicable law, and report results to us for the purpose of evaluating and maintaining coach eligibility.
We use coach information to evaluate applications, verify eligibility, create and display coach profiles, match coaches with athletes, facilitate scheduling and communication, process payouts, provide support, maintain records, and protect the safety and integrity of our services.
Certain profile information you provide as a coach is displayed publicly on the Website so that athletes, parents, and guardians can find and evaluate coaches. You should not include information in your public profile that you do not want to be publicly available.
Payment Information
When you purchase sessions, a subscription, or other paid services, payment is processed by a third-party payment processor.
Payment card numbers and related payment credentials are collected and processed directly by that processor. Athletes Untapped does not receive or store full payment card numbers.
We may receive and retain limited transaction information, such as the last four digits of a card, the card brand, the billing name and contact information, the transaction amount and date, the items purchased, and whether a payment succeeded, failed, or was refunded.
We use this information to process and confirm purchases, manage subscriptions and renewals, issue refunds, respond to billing questions, maintain business and accounting records, detect and prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations.
Our payment processor handles payment information in accordance with its own privacy policy and applicable payment industry standards.
Information We Collect Automatically
When you visit or use the Website, we and certain service providers may automatically collect information about your device and your use of the Website.
This information may include:
IP address;
Browser type;
Device type;
Operating system;
Referring and exit pages;
Pages viewed;

Advertising and Audience Matching
We use online advertising to promote Athletes Untapped and may work with advertising and marketing platforms, including Google and Meta, to measure advertising performance and reach people who may be interested in our services.
We may use personal information that you provide directly to us, such as your name, email address, telephone number, ZIP code, and other contact information, to create advertising audiences, measure advertising effectiveness, and support advertising campaigns.
For these purposes, we may provide certain personal information to advertising and marketing service providers, including Google and Meta. These providers may use the information we provide to match it with information associated with accounts on their platforms, create or maintain advertising audiences, measure advertising performance, and provide related advertising services.
For example, we may use Google Customer Match and Meta Custom Audiences, which allow us to use first-party customer information to create audiences within those advertising platforms. We may also use server-side conversion tools, such as the Meta Conversions API and equivalent Google measurement tools, which send information about actions taken on the Website from our servers to those platforms so that advertising performance can be measured accurately.
Contact information provided to advertising platforms for audience matching or conversion measurement is hashed or otherwise protected in accordance with the applicable provider's policies and technical requirements.
We do not use information about minor athletes for advertising audiences, audience matching, or personalized advertising, and we do not knowingly provide personal information belonging to individuals under 18 to advertising platforms for those purposes.
We do not sell your personal information for money. Some state privacy laws define "sale" or "sharing" broadly enough to include disclosures made for advertising purposes like those described in this section. You may opt out of the use of your personal information for targeted advertising as described in "Your Choices and Privacy Rights" below.
Where required by applicable law, we will provide appropriate choices or obtain appropriate consent before using or disclosing personal information for personalized advertising.
Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies
We and third parties that provide analytics, advertising, and other services may use cookies, pixels, tags, and similar technologies when you visit the Website.

Service providers
We may disclose information to companies and contractors that provide services on our behalf, such as Website hosting, analytics, communications, payment processing, background screening, customer support, technology, security, and other business services.
These providers may access personal information only as reasonably necessary to provide services to us and subject to applicable contractual and legal requirements.
Advertising and analytics providers
We may disclose information to advertising, analytics, and marketing providers to measure advertising performance, understand Website activity, create or manage advertising audiences, and provide advertising services.
These providers include Google and Meta, and may include other advertising or analytics platforms used by Athletes Untapped.
Information about minor athletes is not disclosed to advertising platforms for audience matching or personalized advertising.
Coaches and other users
When you book, contact, or are matched with a coach, information necessary to arrange and deliver the session is disclosed to that coach. This may include the name and contact information of the parent, guardian, or adult athlete, and the athlete information described in "Children and Minor Athletes" above.
When you choose to communicate with a coach or another user through the Website, information you intentionally provide as part of that communication is disclosed to that person.
Legal and safety purposes
We may disclose personal information if we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to:
Comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request;
Enforce our agreements or policies;
Protect the rights, property, or safety of Athletes Untapped, our users, athletes, or others;
Investigate fraud, security incidents, or unlawful activity; or
Prevent or address misuse of the Website.
Business transactions
If Athletes Untapped is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar business transaction, personal information may be disclosed or transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law.
With your direction or consent
We may disclose information for another purpose when you direct us to do so or otherwise provide consent.
Text Messaging Information
If you opt in to receive text messages from Athletes Untapped, we may use your telephone number and related information to provide those communications.
Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be sold or shared with third parties for their own marketing or advertising purposes.
Text messaging opt-in information and consent will not be used for advertising audience matching, including Google Customer Match and Meta Custom Audiences.
We may disclose information to service providers involved in delivering text messages on our behalf when necessary to provide the messaging service.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
You may opt out of marketing text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message, or by following the instructions contained in the message. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us using the information below.
Your Choices and Privacy Rights
Marketing emails
You may unsubscribe from marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link contained in those communications.
Even if you unsubscribe from marketing communications, we may continue to send transactional, account-related, security, or other non-marketing communications when appropriate.
Text messages
You may opt out of marketing text messages at any time by replying STOP, as described above.
Cookies
You can adjust your browser settings to restrict or block cookies. Certain advertising and analytics providers also provide separate tools for managing advertising preferences.
Targeted advertising
You may ask us to stop using your personal information for targeted or personalized advertising, including audience matching with advertising platforms. To do so, contact us at community@athletesuntapped.com with the subject line "Advertising Opt-Out" and the email address or telephone number you provided to us.
Account information
You may contact us to request that we update or correct personal information associated with your account.
State privacy rights
Residents of certain U.S. states may have rights regarding their personal information under applicable state privacy laws.
Depending on the law of your state and whether it applies to Athletes Untapped, these rights may include the ability to:
Confirm whether we process your personal information and request access to it;
Request correction of inaccurate personal information;
Request deletion of personal information;
Obtain a copy of personal information you provided to us in a portable format;
Opt out of targeted advertising, the sale of personal information, or certain profiling; and
Be free from discrimination for exercising these rights.
A parent or guardian may exercise these rights on behalf of a minor athlete. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf where permitted by applicable law.
To make a request, contact us at community@athletesuntapped.com or by phone at 484-730-1899. We may need to verify your identity, and the identity of the person the request concerns, before we can respond. We will respond within the time period required by applicable law.
If we decline to act on your request, you may appeal that decision by replying to our response or contacting us at community@athletesuntapped.com with the subject line "Privacy Request Appeal." We will inform you in writing of our decision on the appeal and the reasons for it, and, where required by applicable law, how you may contact your state attorney general to submit a complaint.
Nothing in this section is intended to provide rights that do not otherwise apply under applicable law.
Online Tracking, Do Not Track, and Opt-Out Preference Signals
Some web browsers provide a "Do Not Track" ("DNT") feature that communicates a user's preference regarding online tracking.
There is currently no universally accepted standard governing how websites should respond to DNT signals. Accordingly, the Website does not currently respond to browser DNT signals.
Separately, some browsers and browser extensions can send an opt-out preference signal, such as Global Privacy Control (GPC), that communicates a request to opt out of the sale of personal information or its use for targeted advertising. Where applicable law requires us to honor such a signal, we will treat it as a request to opt out of targeted advertising for the browser or device from which it is sent.

Transaction and payment records, and records relating to coach screening and eligibility, are generally retained longer than marketing or Website analytics data.
When personal information is no longer reasonably necessary for these purposes, we may delete, anonymize, or otherwise dispose of it in accordance with our practices and applicable law.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information from accidental loss and unauthorized access, use, alteration, or disclosure.
Where you have created a password for access to portions of the Website, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of that password. Please do not share your password with others.
