Introduced to the game by my father at age eleven, my football journey spans decades as a youth, high school, and collegiate athlete. We’re going to attack your development from two crucial angles: elite technical mastery and raw physical explosiveness.
First, we’ll dive deep into position-specific fundamentals. If you're a wide receiver, we are going to obsess over your stance, sudden route-breaking, and creating separation. If you're a defensive back, we’ll perfect your backpedal, hip fluidity, and closing speed. We will film your reps, break down the advanced techniques that separate college-level players from the rest, and fix the small bad habits that cost you plays.
Second, we are going to build your athletic engine. Football isn't just about knowing where to go; it’s about getting there faster than the guy across from you. We will integrate targeted plyometrics into our sessions to dramatically increase your first-step explosiveness, vertical leap, and closing speed.

A typical 60-minute training session with me is fast-paced, highly structured, and designed to build both the skill and the athlete. Here is how we break it down:
00–10 Mins: Dynamic Warm-Up & Core Activation
We start with movement-specific stretching and core work to prep your body for high-intensity tracking, cutting, and jumping.
10–25 Mins: Explosive Plyometrics & Footwork
Before fatigue sets in, we hit the plyos. We focus on fast-twitch response, vertical power, and first-step explosiveness using ladder drills, hurdles, and bounding to build your athletic engine.
25–45 Mins: Advanced Position-Specific Mechanics
This is the technical deep-dive.
For WRs: Line-of-scrimmage releases, route precision, sudden braking, and catching in traffic.
For DBs: Backpedal efficiency, hip transition fluidity, press-man technique, and playing the ball at its highest point.
45–55 Mins: Competitive, High-Speed Situational Reps
We put the technique and power to the test under game-like pressure. We simulate 1-on-1 scenarios, closing-speed drills, and reaction tests to ensure your skills transfer directly to Friday nights.
55–60 Mins: Cool-Down & Mental Recovery
We wrap up with a quick stretch, review the film or key takeaways from the session, and set your focus areas for individual homework before our next workout.
My coaching resume includes leading teams to three consecutive Detroit PAL championships as an assistant coach, followed by three straight semifinal appearances as a head coach. Beyond the wins and losses, my true definition of success is impact: I have proudly helped numerous athletes transition to the collegiate level while mentoring countless others into becoming men of character and substance.

If you’re looking to message a coach for the first time, go to their profile and click “Send a Message”. A type box will show, where you can enter and send your message. To follow up with a coach you've already contacted, log into your account and find the 'Inbox' tab. You'll see your message history and be able to send another note.
Once you find a coach that fits your needs, go to their profile, select the package you'd like to purchase, and click 'Book Lessons'. Here, you can reserve your desired number of lessons along with the number of athletes who will be training. After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.
Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!
We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.
Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.
