Athletes should choose me as their coach because I am committed to helping them maximize their full potential both on and off the field. I will challenge them every day to push beyond their limits, build confidence, and develop the mindset needed for success. My coaching focuses on refining and elevating their skill set to an elite level while fostering discipline, accountability, and character. Together, we will work to improve not only their performance as players but also their growth as individuals.

My athletic journey began on the softball field, where I competed throughout high school and played select softball before advancing to the Division I level as a four-year starter. Those experiences taught me the value of hard work, resilience, discipline, and what it takes to perform at a high level.
After my playing career, I pursued a Doctorate of Physical Therapy and earned my Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification. This combination allows me to help athletes develop not only their sport-specific skills but also the strength, movement quality, and physical foundation needed to perform at their best while reducing injury risk.
I am passionate about helping athletes reach their full potential by creating individualized training programs that support their development both on and off the field. My goal is to build confident, well-rounded athletes who continue to grow as competitors and as people.
Outside of coaching and training, I enjoy traveling, trying new foods (or simply enjoying great food), reading, staying active through sports and outdoor activities, attending sporting events, and occasionally settling in for a good binge-watch series.
I help athletes elevate their game by challenging them to reach their highest potential both mentally and physically. Growth happens outside of comfort zones, so I create an environment that pushes athletes to embrace challenges, build resilience, and develop confidence in their abilities. My approach goes beyond skill development by teaching athletes to understand how their bodies move and perform. Through my background in physical therapy, strength and conditioning, and years of playing experience, I emphasize body mechanics, movement efficiency, and attention to the finer details of kinematics. By combining scientific principles with real-world game knowledge, I help athletes improve performance, reduce injury risk, and gain a deeper understanding of what it takes to compete at an elite level.
A typical session begins by focusing on foundational skills and movement patterns, as I believe higher-level development cannot occur without first mastering the basics. We will reinforce proper mechanics, body awareness, and consistency to create a strong foundation for long-term success. From there, the session is tailored to the athlete's individual needs, with an emphasis on identifying and attacking their biggest weaknesses. Whether it's swing mechanics, timing, mental approach, or movement efficiency, we will work through targeted drills designed to create measurable improvement. Sessions typically conclude with front toss work, allowing athletes to apply what they've learned in a more game-like setting. To keep training competitive and engaging, I also incorporate challenging games and performance-based drills that test execution under pressure and help athletes develop confidence, focus, and adaptability.
My softball career has provided me with experience at multiple levels of competition and has shaped the coaching philosophy I bring to every athlete I work with today. As a four-year starter in high school in San Antonio, my team advanced beyond the first round of the playoffs every season and accumulated only five total losses during my four years as a starter. In addition to high school softball, I competed year-round on a nationally competitive Gold-level select team based out of Houston, traveling back and forth throughout high school while contributing as both a pitcher and position player.
I continued my athletic career at the Division I level, where I was a four-year starter primarily playing third base. Known as a power hitter, I developed a deep understanding of the game, the demands of high-level competition, and the work required to succeed as a collegiate athlete.
Since completing my playing career, I have dedicated my time to developing the next generation of athletes through private instruction and team coaching. I have worked with athletes ranging from youth players to those who have gone on to compete at the Division I level. In addition to providing individual lessons, I have helped coach youth softball teams, working with players ages 7–9 to build strong fundamentals and a love for the game.
Beyond softball, I hold a Doctorate in Physical Therapy and am a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). This unique combination of playing experience, coaching expertise, and advanced education allows me to help athletes improve their performance through skill development, movement efficiency, injury prevention, and sport-specific strength and conditioning.
The best coach I ever had was my hitting coach. What made him different was his ability to push me beyond what I believed I was capable of. There were times when the challenges he put in front of me were extremely uncomfortable and even made me question my own abilities. He never allowed me to settle for what I had already accomplished and constantly challenged me to reach a higher standard. While those moments were difficult, they ultimately taught me that talent is not fixed and that growth comes from embracing challenges and trusting the process.
What made his coaching so impactful was that while he challenged me more than anyone else, he was also my biggest supporter. He believed in me even when I doubted myself and constantly reminded me of what I was capable of achieving. He held me accountable, pushed me outside my comfort zone, and at the same time gave me the confidence to keep pursuing bigger goals. That experience shaped the coach I strive to be today. I want my athletes to know that I will challenge them, demand their best, and push them to levels they may not think are possible—but I will also be one of their biggest advocates every step of the way.
One thing every athlete should know about me is that I have very little tolerance for excuses. I believe growth begins with accountability, and I expect my athletes to show up each day as the best version of themselves they can be in that moment. In return, I hold myself to that same standard. Not every day will be perfect, but every day is an opportunity to improve.
I view success as a shared responsibility. We will work together, grow together, and overcome challenges together. My goal is not to make athletes perform exactly the way I would have. Instead, I strive to understand each athlete's unique strengths, abilities, and learning style so I can guide them toward becoming the best version of themselves. I will meet athletes where they are and help them build from there.
I also believe that resilience is one of the most important skills an athlete can develop. There will be difficult moments, setbacks, and obstacles along the way, but I will never allow an athlete to believe a challenge is too great to overcome. Through hard work, persistence, and a willingness to embrace discomfort, we will continue moving forward and finding ways to improve. Growth happens when we refuse to let adversity define us, and that mindset is at the core of everything I teach.

Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!
We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.
Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.
Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.
