Two-Year Softball player; OVC All Conference-1st team (2001), Nationally Ranked 2001 NCCA Batting average .398 (28TH) and Triples 8 (2nd), Team MVP 2001, Co-Captain (2002), Professional Athlete NPF League: Team Member of Akron Racer(2004), TSU Volunteer Softball Coach 2003-2006, Leads University records in a Single Season Records- Batting Average, Triples, and Runs scored & Leads University Career Records- Batting Average , Triples, Slugging Percentage and On Base Percentage. Prior to arriving at Tennessee State University, Armstrong was named Softball player at Columbia State Community where she achieved TJCCAA ALL Conference- 1ST Team 2000 and Western division TJCCAA- 1st team 1999 & 2000.
