With 14 years experience of strength and conditioning at the Division 1 and military level, I bring a high-performance mindset to every athlete I work with. As a former collegiate basketball athlete myself, I understand the physical and mental demands of competition. I’m a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and certified by the Titleist Performance Institute, giving me the tools to develop athletes across all sports—from the weight room to the football field to the golf course. Coaching is my passion, and my mission is to help individuals grow not just as athletes, but as people—on and off the field.

About Me:

I'm a husband and father of two wonderful young children. I have a master's degree in Exercise Science and am a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the NSCA. I've been in collegiate athletics for most of my professional life but recently got out to be home with the family more. Coaching is my passion. In almost 15 years, I trained athletes across many sports including football, basketball, baseball, softball, volleyball, soccer, tennis, golf, cheerleading, and track and field. From Superbowl champions to weekend warriors, I've worked with them all. Shoot me a message and I would love to work with you!

How I can help you improve your game:

Everything starts with a conversation. What are your goals? How long have you been training? What kind of training have you been doing? Do you have previous injuries? ETC. These types of things are important to start with to build a solid training program. We don't want to be just guessing. I can help you find your strengths and weaknesses and improve both. We will address every aspect that is needed to improve your performance.

What a typical training session looks like with me:

Once we are all squared away, we will always start with some soft tissue/mobility work followed by a warmup that is geared toward the session at hand. The warmup is vital for optimal performance during the session. From there it's on to our main training blocks for the day followed by all of our accessory work and cool down.

-Masters Degree in Exercise Science -Multiple conference championships with multiple schools and sports. -Trained athletes that have gone to play pro in the NFL, NBA, WNBA, Professional soccer, MLB, Korn Ferry Tour-PGA Tour and USA Volleyball. -Held Certifications from the NSCA, CSCCA, Titleist Performance Institute, and United States Weightlifting

What athletes and parents should know about me:

I'm genuinely care about the athlete. Training should be fun but serious. I will implement a program that targets what is best for each individual. I don't care if you squat 600 pounds but are really slow and can't move. That doesn't translate to sport performance unless your sport is to squat. Now that doesn't mean strength isn't needed! ;) We will aim to get the best bang for our buck and elicit the proper training adaptations we need to perform at an optimal level for whatever your sport or sports may be. Let's get to work!!

Frequently Asked Questions

If you’re looking to message a coach for the first time, go to their profile and click “Send a Message”. A type box will show, where you can enter and send your message. To follow up with a coach you've already contacted, log into your account and find the 'Inbox' tab. You'll see your message history and be able to send another note.

Once you find a coach that fits your needs, go to their profile, select the package you'd like to purchase, and click 'Book Lessons'. Here, you can reserve your desired number of lessons along with the number of athletes who will be training. After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.

Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!

We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.

Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.

Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.

The AU guarantee (refund policy) has you covered! If you determine the coach isn't a good fit after your first lesson, let us know within 24 hours and you're eligible for a refund. We will also be happy to recommend another coach - be sure to contact our support team.
