About Me:

I am a football coach and performance specialist with a background in exercise science and sport psychology. I work with athletes who want to understand the game at a deeper level, not just play harder. In sessions we can break down film, work through position-specific skills and game situations, build speed and physical strength, or develop the mental habits that improve focus and resilience under pressure. I believe the best athletes are students of the game who take ownership of their development every single day.

How I can help you improve your game:

Depending on what you need, we can go deep on football IQ through film study and position-specific work, build the physical tools that make you harder to stop, or work on the mental side of competing: focus, composure, and bouncing back from mistakes. Most athletes I work with need all three at some level. The goal is always to help you become a more complete player who understands the game, trusts your preparation, and performs when it matters.

What a typical training session looks like with me:

Sessions look different depending on what the athlete needs most. A football session might involve watching film together to break down assignments and reads, then taking those concepts onto the field through position drills and live reps. A speed and strength session builds physical tools through movement mechanics and progressive training. A mental performance session works through focus routines, competition prep, or identifying the mental patterns that are getting in the way. Every session starts with a clear goal and ends with something you can apply immediately.

Career summary and accomplishments:

I served as Head Coach of BYU-Idaho's intramural tackle football program, where I designed training programs, led practices, and directed game strategy, earning Coach of the Year honors voted on by peers and players from across the entire league for my impact on the game, measurable improvement, and sportsmanship. I hold a B.S. in Exercise Physiology from BYU-Idaho and will begin an M.S. in Sport Psychology at Arizona State University in Fall 2026. I also hold multiple certifications in personal training, strength and conditioning, and nutrition, and previously conducted over 100 training consultations as a personal trainer. My background sits at the intersection of physical performance, football coaching, and mental skills development.

Best coach I ever had:

The best coach I ever had was my high school football coach, who taught us to always give our best effort and reminded us that we were “never out of the fight.” His mentality instilled resilience and consistency in our team, shaping both our performance and our character. Because of his leadership, we became Western Slope champions in our division in Colorado, a lesson in perseverance that continues to guide me as a coach today.

I coach with character and I take the trust that athletes and families place in me seriously. Parents can expect clear communication, a safe environment, and a coach who genuinely cares about who their athlete is becoming, not just how they perform. Athletes can expect someone who will push them, study the game with them, and help them build the kind of confidence that comes from real preparation. I bring my football background and exercise science training into everything I do, and I am in this because I believe good coaching changes people.

If you’re looking to message a coach for the first time, go to their profile and click “Send a Message”. A type box will show, where you can enter and send your message. To follow up with a coach you've already contacted, log into your account and find the 'Inbox' tab. You'll see your message history and be able to send another note.

Once you find a coach that fits your needs, go to their profile, select the package you'd like to purchase, and click 'Book Lessons'. Here, you can reserve your desired number of lessons along with the number of athletes who will be training. After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.

Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!

We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.

Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.

Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.
