12+ Year Pro | Building Confident, Skilled Athletes Through Consistency
From college walk-on to All-American and 12+ year international basketball professional, I've experienced firsthand what it takes to develop, compete, and succeed at the highest levels. Throughout my career, I've learned that great player development goes beyond drills. It's about building confidence, understanding the game, developing strong fundamentals, and discovering what makes each athlete unique. Having trained more than 200 youth athletes, I understand that no two players develop the same way. My coaching approach combines personalized basketball skill development, athletic performance training, and game-realistic situations designed to help athletes translate their work into results. My philosophy is built around The Consistency Code: purposeful preparation, disciplined habits, and consistent improvement. Whether you're just beginning your basketball journey or preparing for the next level, my goal is to help you maximize your potential while developing the confidence to be yourself on the court.
I help athletes improve their basketball skills and overall athletic performance through individualized, game-specific training.
My areas of focus include ball handling, shooting mechanics, footwork, finishing, creating separation, decision-making, and offensive skill development.
I also incorporate strength, speed, agility, coordination, and explosiveness training when appropriate for the athlete's age, experience, and goals.
Beyond physical development, I teach athletes how to understand the game, build confidence, develop discipline, and translate their training into actual game situations.
Whether you're learning the fundamentals or preparing for competitive basketball, every session is designed to address your weaknesses, build on your strengths, and help you become a more complete player.
Every training session is structured around the athlete's individual needs, experience, and goals.
We typically begin with a dynamic warm-up focused on mobility, coordination, and movement preparation.
From there, we progress into skill development, including ball handling, footwork, shooting, finishing, or position-specific movements.
As the session progresses, I introduce game-realistic drills that challenge athletes to make decisions, execute skills at different speeds, and perform under pressure.
Depending on the athlete's goals, sessions may also incorporate speed, agility, strength, or explosive movement training.
I finish each session with feedback, identifying areas of improvement and providing guidance on what the athlete should continue working on between sessions.
My goal is for every athlete to leave understanding not just what they practiced, but why it matters.

My career has given me firsthand experience with the technical, physical, and mental demands of basketball at the collegiate and professional levels.
The best coach I've ever played for was Coach Andy Enfield at Florida Gulf Coast University.
When Coach Enfield arrived at FGCU before my junior year, I had already spent two years in the program. During that time, I felt I hadn't been given the freedom to fully showcase my abilities or reach my potential as a player.
Coach Enfield brought a different approach. He encouraged me to be myself on the court, trust my instincts, and play with confidence. Rather than feeling restricted, I felt empowered to embrace my strengths and express my abilities.
That experience changed my perspective on what great coaching should look like.
Today, I carry that lesson into my own coaching philosophy. I believe athletes need structure, discipline, and accountability, but they also need the freedom to develop their individuality and confidence.
My goal isn't to create players who all look and play the same. It's to help each athlete discover their strengths, maximize their potential, and become the best version of themselves.
Sometimes the difference between a good player and a great player is having a coach who allows them to believe in what they're capable of achieving.
I believe every athlete deserves quality coaching, regardless of their current skill level or experience.
I've worked with more than 200 young athletes, and I understand that every player develops differently. Some need help building confidence, others need technical development, and some need to learn how to translate their abilities into game situations.
My approach is patient, detailed, and challenging. I don't believe in simply putting athletes through drills. I believe in teaching them how to improve and helping them understand the purpose behind every exercise.
I value communication with both athletes and parents, and I want every family to understand what we're working toward.
Above all, my goal is to help athletes develop skills and habits that benefit them both on and off the court.

If you’re looking to message a coach for the first time, go to their profile and click “Send a Message”. A type box will show, where you can enter and send your message. Once you find a coach that fits your needs, go to their profile, select the package you'd like to purchase, and click 'Book Lessons'. Here, you can reserve your desired number of lessons along with the number of athletes who will be training. After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.
Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!
We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.
Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.
Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.
