Who is the best coach you ever had and why?
I played for Coach Carl "Duke" Iverson at Western College University. He knowledge and love of the game were inspiring. He also showed a caring and empathic approach to his coaching. He loved his players as much as he loved his role as coach or his passion for winning.
What should athletes and parents know about you?
First, it needs to be fun! Once that is gone then the love for the sport is gone! Second, your son or daughter needs to know I care about their growth in the sport but also about them personally. This is a tremendous motivator. Third, there is no substitute for hard work and it will pay off!
