Hello, my name is Seth Murray M.S., CSCS, PES Strength and conditioning is a lifelong passion of mine, whether maximizing rate of force production in collegiate throwing, aerobic capacity in ultramarathons or raw strength in powerlifting I have always desired to see the best performance possible exuded in any competitive setting. I have personally trained high school athletes to compete at the division one level, aided in the training of college athletes to the professional level and youth athletes to the national and world level. In conjunction with this training, I have had the opportunity to track athletic performance through VALD, Brave, Output and numerous other VBT and biomechanical tracking tools under the supervision of a current professional sports scientist. Through this data collection all results were formatted in an intelligent manner and sent to respective athletes agents or guardians on a bi monthly or monthly basis. Recently removed from college where I graduated with my master of science in Kinesiology with a focus on exercise science with a 3.7 GPA, I have completed my CSCS with a Scaled average of 86 on both sections and started my professional career as a director of strength and conditioning and sports scientist where I continue to improve the athleticism of youth to college athletes working along side skills coaches with professional playing experience. It is dependent upon one’s strengths and weaknesses, but whether that be mindset, speed, endurance, body composition, balance, proprioception, mobility or agility I have experience in improving all.

What a typical training session looks like with me:

This is largely dependent on one’s sport and subjective strengths and weaknesses, whether based upon biomechanics, previous training or physiology. But in continuation of this, it would be personalized around one’s strengths and weaknesses.

Career summary and accomplishments:

I have coaches youth to adult athletes with proficiencies from novice to professional, in football, basketball, track and field, baseball, softball, jiu jitsu, long distance running, powerlifting, gymnastics, and cheer. These efforts were in both rehabilitation and maximization of performance.

Best coach I ever had:

My collegiate track coach, he was able to intelligently explain the intricacies of many different modalities of field events in a multitude of ways to better help me understand each independent step of the process of maximizing my results.

What athletes and parents should know about me:

I am a former division one athlete, who is currently working as a director of strength and conditioning in a performance facility in Allen, I have my CSCS (certified strength and conditioning specialist) and my PES (performance enhancement specialist). I held a national deadlift record for 3 years and recently matched the state deadlift record. The year prior I ran my first ultramarathon of 90km.

If you’re looking to message a coach for the first time, go to their profile and click “Send a Message”. A type box will show, where you can enter and send your message. To follow up with a coach you've already contacted, log into your account and find the 'Inbox' tab. You'll see your message history and be able to send another note.

Once you find a coach that fits your needs, go to their profile, select the package you'd like to purchase, and click 'Book Lessons'. Here, you can reserve your desired number of lessons along with the number of athletes who will be training. After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.

Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!

We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.

Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.

Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.

The AU guarantee (refund policy) has you covered! If you determine the coach isn't a good fit after your first lesson, let us know within 24 hours and you're eligible for a refund. We will also be happy to recommend another coach - be sure to contact our support team.
