About Me:

I am a 22-year-old recent graduate from the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a Bachelor’s degree in Sport Management. Sports have been a major part of my life from kindergarten soccer through my final year of high school athletics, and that passion continues to drive my ambition within the sports industry today. I love working with athletes of all ages, especially in isolated training sessions where the authentic relationships can be built and individual goals can be prioritized to help create stronger foundations and faster development.

How I can help you improve your game:

I can help improve your game by bringing a well-rounded understanding of basketball and a coaching style that adapts to each athlete individually. While I may not have played at the highest level myself, my basketball IQ, court awareness, and understanding of how different athletes learn and act on the court allow me to connect with players in a way that helps optimize development.

What a typical training session looks like with me:

Every training session starts with understanding the athlete first. I want to know your goals, what parts of your game you want to improve, and what type of player you want to become so training feels personalized and purposeful from day one. A big focus of mine is teaching the parts of basketball that truly impact winning such as creating space, making smart reads, knowing how to react within the flow of the game, and understanding how to stay effective both on the offensive and defensive side of the ball. I also incorporate training methods from my experience helping lead the NAA Basketball Clinic, where I have seen these drills and development approaches produce real improvement firsthand while still adapting sessions to each athlete’s individual goals.

Career summary and accomplishments:

I have experience working with Pro Football Focus (PFF), SponsorUnited, and the Newton Athletic Association (NAA), where I served both as a referee and co-director of the NAA Basketball Clinic. Across these roles, I have developed experience in leadership, communication, athlete development, and building relationships in competitive environments both on and off the court. I was also both a camper and later a summer camp counselor at Bridgton Sports Camp, where I worked closely with kids of all ages and further developed my passion for mentoring young athletes.

Best coach I ever had:

The best coach I ever had was Coach Syphy at Oak Hill Middle School and his teachings have stayed with me ever since. As a seventh grader playing on a team mostly made up of eighth graders I would sometimes get into shooting slumps and let missed shots affect my rhythm and mindset during games. Whenever that happened he would simply yell “Confidence” from the sideline. That small reminder along with the belief he held and supportive discussions that we had completely changed the way I approached the game. Over time I became more comfortable trusting myself and made major progress both mentally and as a player. His ability to connect with athletes and understand how much confidence impacts development is something I still carry with me today in the way I want to coach others.

What athletes and parents should know about me:

Athletes and parents should know that I genuinely care about development both on and off the court. I bring energy, accountability, and genuine care into every session. I want athletes to feel comfortable being challenged while knowing they have someone fully invested in their growth and development. I understand that every athlete learns differently, which is why I focus on personalized training built around individual goals and long-term development that fits the athlete rather than forcing the athlete to fit the training. As someone who grew up playing sports my entire life and experienced firsthand how impactful the right coach can be. Through my background I have learned the importance of confidence, communication, and trust are within personable development. My goal is to help athletes improve their skills and develop a deeper understanding of the game. I also want to help them build discipline while handling adversity, and step onto the court with belief in themselves.

Frequently Asked Questions

If you’re looking to message a coach for the first time, go to their profile and click “Send a Message”. A type box will show, where you can enter and send your message. To follow up with a coach you've already contacted, log into your account and find the 'Inbox' tab. You'll see your message history and be able to send another note.

Once you find a coach that fits your needs, go to their profile, select the package you'd like to purchase, and click 'Book Lessons'. Here, you can reserve your desired number of lessons along with the number of athletes who will be training. After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.

Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!

We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.

Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.

Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.

  • Good Fit Guarantee — If your first lesson isn't the right fit, we'll move your lesson credit to a new coach. No hassle.

AU was created by former college and pro athletes. We understand the benefits of training with a private coach. It develops discipline, boosts confidence, and provides an undeniable advantage - whether you are just learning the game or looking to earn a college scholarship. All AU coaches are required to pass a thorough onboarding process + background check, so you can trust you're training with the best.
