College All-American with 5+ years coaching across 3 organizations

I’m a Kinesiology student-athlete at Cal State San Marcos with hands-on coaching experience across every level of youth baseball. From running camps at Hard 90 to leading teams at Alpha Athletics, I’ve spent years developing athletes physically and mentally — emphasizing movement quality, injury prevention, and competitive mindset. As an NCBA All-American, I bring a player’s perspective to every coaching decision. I don’t just teach the game — I build athletes who compete with purpose.

About Me:

I’ve been playing baseball my entire life — travel ball, high school, and college. I won sections twice in high school, hit .600 my sophomore year of college, and earned back-to-back NCBA All-American honors. I’m not just a coach — I’m a student of the game who has lived every level of development an athlete goes through. Now I study Kinesiology at Cal State San Marcos so I can understand the body the same way I understand the game. Every athlete I work with gets that combination — competitive experience and scientific knowledge.

How I can help you improve your game:

I coach the swing from the ground up. It starts with your feet — how you load, how you create ground force, and how that energy transfers through your hips into rotation. From there we clean up the upper half — hand path, bat angle, and barrel to the ball. I use slow-motion video every session so athletes can see exactly what their body is doing versus what they think it’s doing. That gap is where most players get stuck. I also pull from drills I’ve personally used at every level, so nothing I give you is textbook theory — it’s stuff that actually works under pressure.

What a typical training session looks like with me:

We start on the tee. I watch your natural swing first — no cues, no corrections — just baseline. From there I identify the one or two things holding you back most and we build the entire session around fixing those. We use tee work, front toss, and live reps depending on where you are. Every drill has a purpose and I’ll explain why we’re doing it so you own the concept, not just the movement. You’ll leave every session with one specific thing to work on before we meet again.

Career summary and accomplishments:

I’ve coached youth through college-level athletes across three organizations — Hard 90 Baseball, Big Fly Athletics, and Alpha Athletics — totaling 5+ years of hands-on coaching experience. As a player I won sections twice, hit .600 in college, and earned back-to-back NCBA All-American recognition. I’m a Dean’s List student at CSUSM studying Kinesiology. I’ve worked with 40+ athletes in camp settings and coached teams ranging from ages 8 through college-age adults.

Best coach I ever had:

My JV coach is the reason I fell in love with coaching. He had this energy every single day that made you want to come to practice — it never felt like work. He had a way of breaking the game down so it clicked fast, and he made every player feel like they belonged on that field. He’s the reason I coach the way I do. I try to bring that same energy every session because I know firsthand how much it matters when you’re a young player still figuring the game out.

What athletes and parents should know about me:

I expect effort, not perfection. Every athlete I work with is going to be pushed — not because I’m hard for the sake of it, but because I’ve seen what it takes to compete at a high level and I want every kid to have that same shot. I communicate directly with both athletes and parents so everyone is on the same page. I also expect athletes to work between sessions. One lesson a week means nothing if the reps aren’t happening at home. Show up ready to work and I’ll give you everything I have.

Frequently Asked Questions

If you’re looking to message a coach for the first time, go to their profile and click “Send a Message”. A type box will show, where you can enter and send your message. To follow up with a coach you've already contacted, log into your account and find the 'Inbox' tab. You'll see your message history and be able to send another note.

Once you find a coach that fits your needs, go to their profile, select the package you'd like to purchase, and click 'Book Lessons'. Here, you can reserve your desired number of lessons along with the number of athletes who will be training. After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.

Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!

We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.

Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.

Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.
