I spent over 18 years as a professional modern dancer before transitioning into fight sports. My lifetime love of movement and performance propelled me into studies of sport medicine, exercise science, and sport science. I have spent more than a decade working with performance and artistic athletes at all levels, to prepare for competition and regain strength and performance abilities for return to play.
Every sport has a unique demand that we will train physically and mentally to meet, then excel in.
A typical session will last around 60 minutes and is always customized to your goals. We’ll begin with an appropriate dynamic warm up with a proper warm-up, focusing on activation and mobility to prepare your body for the session ahead. From there, we dive into conditioning and agility drills, strength training, and end with flexibility and any corrective movements you may need as "home work".
Video is used for instant feedback when needed or desired, and sessions may include mind-body centering exercises, positive visualization, and breath work as part of mental preparedness.
Each session is designed with the principal of progressive overload but with enough flexibility to make corrections and modifications if necessary to the ultimate goal. I will provide structure and guidance to help you keep improving. At the end of your session you will have understanding of what we’ve worked on and why.

There was a jiujitsu coach I had in Miami for less than a year after returning from injury that made such a positive impact on my training. Coach David is probably the reason I can still train today. Even though he was not my primary coach, he made a huge impact on me because he turned every session into a focus on success. He helped me get past my own frustration with my performance as I was healing, by focusing on what was right with my technique and building me up. He was also great at setting me up with and achievable goal for the next session so I had training to look forward to and could mentally rehearse. Eventually, my mental game became strong and I stopped doubting myself. My body got stronger, and the training focus narrowed to just my skills and strength training.
I am focused on physical development of athletes and want their success. I believe I can help athletes achieve their goals through holistic strength and conditioning that improves performance and reduces the risk of physical and mental/emotional injury.

If you’re looking to message a coach for the first time, go to their profile and click “Send a Message”. A type box will show, where you can enter and send your message. To follow up with a coach you've already contacted, log into your account and find the 'Inbox' tab. You'll see your message history and be able to send another note.
Once you find a coach that fits your needs, go to their profile, select the package you'd like to purchase, and click 'Book Lessons'. Here, you can reserve your desired number of lessons along with the number of athletes who will be training. After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.
Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!
We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.
Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.
