I pitched at Yavapai, Mesa, and Concordia University Irvine, and later played professionally across the U.S. in the Pecos, Empire, Atlantic, and Thoroughbred Leagues before spending seven years in Germany’s top league, Bundesliga 1, with the Elmshorn Alligators. Along the way, I discovered my real passion: coaching During my time here, I was also an assistant/pitching coach for the youth Alligators, aging 10-14 years old. Since 2020, I've had many one-on-one pitching training sessions with kids 8 - 24 years old. I focus on building confident, skilled, and mentally strong athletes. Hi, my name is Robbie Ingram. I was born in Los Angeles and grew up in Flagstaff, Arizona. I’ve always loved sports—any kind, you name it. I’ve been an athlete for as long as I can remember, always driven to compete and constantly looking for ways to improve. I’m a fun, responsible, enthusiastic, and outgoing guy, and baseball has always been my true passion.
For the past six years, I’ve been living in Germany. Funny enough, that move changed my life in more ways than one. At my very first home opener overseas, my (now wife) sang the national anthem. We met right after the game, hit it off instantly, and the rest is history. We’ve now been happily married for three years.
As your pitching coach, my goal is to help you become the best version of yourself on the mound. I want to hear from you, what do you feel needs improvement? Is it your velocity, control, mechanics, pitch selection, or mental approach? Your input matters, and the more honest and specific you are, the better I can guide you. I’m here to support your growth, challenge you, and make sure we’re working on what truly helps you improve.
Warm Up: 30 min.
Light jog
Agilties
Stretching
Cable band stretches
Weighted ball drills
Throwing: 20 - 30 min.
I will show you how I warmed up as a pitcher. I have done this warm up for 10 years now, and I learned it from Alan Jaeger (Jaeger Sports). And yes, we are doing long toss. After a couple of months of doing this warm up religiously for 5 or 6 days a week, I definitely saw a difference in my velocity. I went from throwing mid 80's to touching low 90's.
'Drink Break'
Bullpen: 30 min.
A bullpen is usually 30-50 pitches, depending on how the arm feels. It usually starts with 10-15 fastballs to get a feel of how they throw, also focusing on location.
Off-speed pitches mixed in with fastballs.
I will be monitoring and enhancing performance, teaching relevant skills, tactics and techniques. Identifying strengths and weaknesses.
'Drink Break'
Sprints: 20 min.
10 sprints from foul line through second base.
At the end of practice I will give you a constructive feedback.

Dear Parents,
I’m excited to be coaching your child this season! I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and share a little about who I am and what you can expect from me as a coach.
I'm a positive, enthusiastic, and responsible person who genuinely loves working with kids. As an uncle to six amazing nieces and nephews ranging from ages 1 to 12 (proudly known in the family as the "fun-cle"), I’ve had plenty of hands-on experience creating a fun and supportive environment for children of all ages.
Coaching is something I take seriously, not only because I love the game of baseball, but because I believe in the importance of being a role model. I’m passionate about helping kids grow—not just as athletes, but as individuals. Seeing them improve, gain confidence, and develop a love for the game is what it’s all about for me.
Our practices will be energetic and fun, but also structured and purposeful. I believe in creating a balance where players can enjoy themselves while learning discipline, teamwork, and respect—both on and off the field.
Thank you for trusting me with your child this season. I’m looking forward to a great time together!
Warm regards,
Robbie Ingram

If you’re looking to message a coach for the first time, go to their profile and click “Send a Message”. A type box will show, where you can enter and send your message. To follow up with a coach you've already contacted, log into your account and find the 'Inbox' tab. You'll see your message history and be able to send another note.
Once you find a coach that fits your needs, go to their profile, select the package you'd like to purchase, and click 'Book Lessons'. Here, you can reserve your desired number of lessons along with the number of athletes who will be training. After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.
Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!
We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.
Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.
Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.
The AU guarantee (refund policy) has you covered! If you determine the coach isn't a good fit after your first lesson, let us know within 24 hours and you're eligible for a refund. We will also be happy to recommend another coach - be sure to contact our support team.
Our coaches are open to helping athletes of any age and skill level. Please message your desired coach to ensure their skillset fits your needs.
