I'm a coach, I'm a teacher, I'm a baseball player (and lots of other sports!). I have been a teacher assistant and English language teacher for 8+ years. I love teaching, baseball, and working with kids. What better than to combine all three?? I coached little league as an Assistant Coach for 7 seasons in Tucson. When I moved to Seattle, I head coached another season for North Central Little League AA. I also have coached private lessons here and there when I've found people in need. Baseball was my passion growing up, I couldn't get enough. I would love to be able to instill and support that feeling for others as they get into baseball and/or grow in their skills. I played up to junior college summer leagues level when growing up/living in Michigan. I was a pitcher and 3rd baseman, and was pretty good at hitting. I'm happy to coach any facet of the game, but specifically, pitching and hitting are my sweet spots! I would love to help you with some baseball!! When I coach, I meet at local parks, like Woodland Park, Gilman Playground, or another park of similar size and space. Please contact me for any more questions or to book. I look forward to meeting you!

Playing for 16 years to a junior college level. Coaching little league for 4+ years.
I can help beginners up to high school level get better. The best ages to take lessons with me would be 5-12 or so. I can help you learn the basics, or get better with things that you already do well, with some little tweaks here and there.
Depends on what we are learning that day. I try to only do one thing for maybe 30 minutes at a time, at most. I don't want it to be boring for whomever I'm teaching. I mix up the drills and information that I'm teaching, to allow maximum rentention without repeating something for too long at one time.
I coached little league for 4+ years and have given some private baseball lessons here and there.
I think my dad was the best coach I had because I always looked up to him, and he and I had the same philosophy when it came to playing. Baseball was meant to be fun first of all, and then learning was next, then winning was last. As much as it's nice to win, we both agreed that winning without having fun and learning is no good!
I love having fun. I try to make my coaching sessions as fun as possible, while still allowing the athletes to learn what they need. I'm a funny guy and will make jokes and play with the kids to keep the mood light. I really want kids to enjoy baseball, and anything else I teach or do with them.

Meet your coach in-person or virtually, and start chasing down your goals!
If you’re looking to message a coach for the first time, go to their profile and click “Send a Message”. A type box will show, where you can enter and send your message. To follow up with a coach you've already contacted, log into your account and find the 'Inbox' tab. You'll see your message history and be able to send another note.
Once you find a coach that fits your needs, go to their profile, select the package you'd like to purchase, and click 'Book Lessons'. Here, you can reserve your desired number of lessons along with the number of athletes who will be training. After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.
Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!
We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.
Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.
Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.
The AU guarantee (refund policy) has you covered! If you determine the coach isn't a good fit after your first lesson, let us know within 24 hours and you're eligible for a refund. We will also be happy to recommend another coach - be sure to contact our support team.
Our coaches are open to helping athletes of any age and skill level. Please message your desired coach to ensure their skillset fits your needs.
