My name is Randi Crandall and I have played five years at the collegiate level as a middle blocker and received an associates of science and a bachelors degree in exercise science. Throughout my time at the collegiate level I have been a two time SSAC tournament champion, a regular season champion, and a first team MB. I have played at the junior college level, the NAIA level, and at the NCAA D2 level. That being said I have experienced every level of college athletics and had a successful career, allow me to let that translate into lessons with your athlete! My passion for this sport is very high and being able to stay in the game by helping upcoming athletes improve their game is such a blessing.

Two years at the junior college level. Two years at the NAIA level at Blue Mountain Christian University where I was a two-time conference tournament champion, a regular season champion, first team
MB, and a Barnes and Noble all-academic athlete. Finished my career at the D2 level at ENMU
I can help my future athletes to improve their game by offering a new perspective to the game, introducing new skills, and using my experience and knowledge of the game to aid in their overall training/improvement.
A typical training session with me includes a proper warmup up using dynamics and a proper arm warmup. After I have observed hat the athlete overall skill ell is and where they can improve at we will divide into working on their weaknesses and getting as many receptions as possible to develop consistency. I like finishing most of my sessions with focus on serving. I will introduce new skills and break down these skills in a way that the athlete can understand. I will also put emphasis on the fundamentals and ensure that the athletes have a strong understanding of the basics.
I have worked with several athletes doing private lessons over the course of the last two years. I have also coached at the HS level and am now currently coaching at a club in Lubbock TX.
The best coach I have had is Coach Kay. She was my best coach because she connected with her athletes in a way that she made you want to run through a brick wall for her. She never belittled or degraded but always built her athletes up. I always felt like I was capable of more and was comfortable trying new things even though failure could occur. She improved my game significantly mentally and physically. She even alter surprised me at a college game. Coach Kay offered advice as I began my collegiate career that I never forgot my whole time at the collegiate level. Coach Kay only coached me for one short year but impacted my personal and athletic life so greatly.
My future athletes and parents should kjknow that I have a. strong love for the game of volleyball and want to share that love with their athletes. Not only do I want to assist these athletes in leveling up their game, but I also want to assist in any way I can and be a complete resource. I can offer assistance in strength training/conditioning, coaching, and recruiting. I have an associates of science and a bachelors in exercise science and a strong love for fitness. I also strongly believe that exercise is medicine and implement that in my daily life as well.

If you’re looking to message a coach for the first time, go to their profile and click “Send a Message”. A type box will show, where you can enter and send your message. To follow up with a coach you've already contacted, log into your account and find the 'Inbox' tab. You'll see your message history and be able to send another note.
Once you find a coach that fits your needs, go to their profile, select the package you'd like to purchase, and click 'Book Lessons'. Here, you can reserve your desired number of lessons along with the number of athletes who will be training. After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.
Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!
We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.
Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.
Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.
The AU guarantee (refund policy) has you covered! If you determine the coach isn't a good fit after your first lesson, let us know within 24 hours and you're eligible for a refund. We will also be happy to recommend another coach - be sure to contact our support team.
Our coaches are open to helping athletes of any age and skill level. Please message your desired coach to ensure their skillset fits your needs.
