About Me:

I've spent more than 15 years helping athletes unlock their potential through a combination of sport-specific coaching and performance training. My background spans tennis instruction, strength and conditioning, and long-term athletic development, giving me a unique perspective on what truly helps athletes improve.

Rather than focusing only on technique, I help athletes become better movers, better competitors, and more confident performers. Every lesson is designed to improve the qualities that carry over into competition—speed, agility, balance, coordination, power, decision-making, and resilience.

I've worked with youth athletes, high school competitors, collegiate athletes, and active adults, always emphasizing quality movement, smart training, and individualized coaching. My goal is simple: help every athlete maximize their potential while building habits that support a lifetime of health and performance.

Whether your child is just beginning their athletic journey or working toward playing at the next level, I create an encouraging environment where athletes are challenged, supported, and excited to improve.

How I can help you improve your game:

I believe better athletes become better players.

Many young athletes spend countless hours practicing skills but never develop the athletic qualities that allow those skills to show up consistently during competition. My coaching focuses on building the foundation that every athlete needs: speed, first-step quickness, agility, coordination, balance, strength, power, and confidence.

Every session is tailored to the individual athlete. We identify strengths, address weaknesses, and create a plan that produces measurable progress. Whether an athlete wants to move faster around the tennis court, improve explosiveness for baseball, increase rotational power for golf, or simply become a more complete athlete, each lesson has a clear purpose and measurable goals.

I want every athlete to leave each session more confident than when they arrived.

What a typical training session looks like with me:

Every performance training session is built around a plan—not random drills.

We begin with a dynamic warm-up designed around each athlete's movement patterns and individual needs. From there, we develop explosive power, speed, agility, and sport-specific movement skills before progressing into age-appropriate strength training that builds resilience and confidence.

We finish each session with conditioning that matches the demands of the athlete's sport, followed by mobility and breathing exercises to jump-start recovery and prepare them for their next practice or competition.

My goal is simple: every athlete should leave healthier, stronger, more confident, and better prepared to perform than when they walked in.

Best coach I ever had:

The best coach I ever had was my dad. His advice was simple, timeless, and rooted in common sense. In today's sports culture, we're often chasing the next big thing while overlooking what matters most. His philosophy was, "Do the simple things savagely well." That's a lesson I still carry into every athlete I coach.

What athletes and parents should know about me:

I genuinely care about every athlete I coach.

My goal isn't simply to help someone perform better next weekend—it's to help them develop habits, confidence, and physical abilities that will benefit them for years to come.

Parents can expect honest communication, individualized coaching, and measurable progress. Athletes can expect to be challenged, encouraged, and supported every step of the way.

I celebrate effort just as much as results because lasting improvement comes from consistent work. Whether your child dreams of playing at the collegiate level or simply wants to become more confident and enjoy their sport, I'll meet them where they are and help them take the next step.

The greatest compliment I can receive is when an athlete begins to believe in themselves more than they did before we started working together.

Frequently Asked Questions

If you’re looking to message a coach for the first time, go to their profile and click “Send a Message”. A type box will show, where you can enter and send your message. To follow up with a coach you've already contacted, log into your account and find the 'Inbox' tab. You'll see your message history and be able to send another note.

Once you find a coach that fits your needs, go to their profile, select the package you'd like to purchase, and click 'Book Lessons'. Here, you can reserve your desired number of lessons along with the number of athletes who will be training. After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.

Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!

We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.

Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.

Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.

  • Good Fit Guarantee — If your first lesson isn't the right fit, we'll move your lesson credit to a new coach. No hassle.

AU was created by former college and pro athletes. We understand the benefits of training with a private coach. It develops discipline, boosts confidence, and provides an undeniable advantage - whether you are just learning the game or looking to earn a college scholarship. All AU coaches are required to pass a thorough onboarding process + background check, so you can trust you're training with the best.
