Get to know Natalie

Where science, passion, and performance come together.

I believe great coaching goes beyond drills and workouts. By combining my background as a former collegiate soccer player with a degree in kinesiology and an individualized approach, I help athletes train with purpose, build confidence, and unlock their potential. Parents appreciate my focus on long-term athletic development and injury prevention, while athletes enjoy sessions that are challenging, encouraging, and designed to help them succeed in competition and beyond.

About me

Hi 👋 I’m Coach Nat!

I grew up in a soccer family (2 older sisters played college soccer + Coach Dad and Team Mom-ager) so to say soccer is life is super true for me! I tried other sports as a kid but fell to love soccer the most and decided I wanted to try all types of it: sand/ beach, Sunday leagues, indoor & futsal, etc. With learning my passion for the game came wanting to be the best so I again in high school picked up other sports to strengthen my game (boxing, track and field hurdles, kickboxing, & swimming). I earned a scholarship to play college ball and while being on that team was blessed to attend the League National Championship Tournament 2/4 of my years there while earning my bachelors in Kinesiology (human movement sciences)!

PS: I'm moving from LA County to San Diego County (East) so, let's go new friends!

Whether you're chasing more playing time, preparing for the next level, or building confidence, my goal isn't just to make you faster or stronger—it's to help you move with purpose and become a more complete athlete. Through personalized training, we'll develop your technical skills, movement quality, speed, game IQ, and decision-making while building the confidence, resilience, and body awareness to perform under pressure and grow long after the final whistle.

Every session begins with a clear purpose and is built around your individual goals. We'll start with movement preparation, progress through focused skill and performance training, and finish with recovery and reflection so you leave feeling stronger than when you arrived. No two athletes move the same, so every session is personalized to challenge you safely while improving the way you move, perform, and recover. Along the way, I'll help you understand your body, build confidence in your movement, and develop habits that support success both on and off the field.

My soccer journey has shaped the way I coach today. Before college, I overcame a broken leg, broken collarbone, and broken elbow—experiences that taught me resilience, patience, and the importance of injury prevention and proper recovery. At 14, I represented Southern California at the National Championships after earning a spot during my age group's first year of Premier League eligibility. I proudly served as captain of that club team for seven years, was a two-year high school captain, and competed in two national tournaments during my collegiate career while earning my Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology.

I began coaching at 17 during my senior year of high school, leading my first club team to a top-three league finish in my debut season. Since then, I've coached youth camps, club soccer, ECNL athletes, and high school boys' and girls' programs, serving in roles ranging from assistant coach and guest coach to strength and conditioning coach. These experiences have allowed me to work with athletes of all ages, skill levels, and stages of development.

As both a player and coach, I've experienced the game from nearly every perspective. I've played every position on the field—including goalkeeper when my team needed me—served as a student athletic trainer for JV and varsity football, and worked in sports recovery and wellness specializing in assisted stretching, cupping, scraping, red light therapy, cryotherapy, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, compression therapy, and injury prevention. Together, these experiences allow me to coach with a whole-athlete approach, helping athletes perform at their highest level while building healthy movement patterns that support long-term success.

The best coach I ever had was my dad. He had the difficult job of balancing being both my father and my coach, and he never let those roles overlap on the field. I was held to the same standard as everyone else—if anything, a higher one. Those extra workouts, honest conversations, and high expectations taught me discipline, accountability, and what it truly means to love the game.

More importantly, he taught me that the strongest growth comes from within. A coach won't always be there to keep your head in the game, whether in sports or in life. His goal was to help me develop the confidence, discipline, and mindset to push myself, stay accountable, and keep growing on my own. That lesson shapes the way I coach today—I want every athlete to leave not only as a better player, but as someone who believes in themselves long after the final whistle.

To me, coaching is about more than improving performance—it's about helping athletes build a healthy relationship with movement and confidence in themselves. I value consistency, curiosity, and effort over perfection, and I believe every athlete deserves to feel seen, supported, and challenged. When you train with me, you're investing in long-term growth, not just short-term results.

Frequently Asked Questions

If you’re looking to message a coach for the first time, go to their profile and click “Send a Message”. A type box will show, where you can enter and send your message. To follow up with a coach you've already contacted, log into your account and find the 'Inbox' tab. You'll see your message history and be able to send another note.

Once you find a coach that fits your needs, go to their profile, select the package you'd like to purchase, and click 'Book Lessons'. Here, you can reserve your desired number of lessons along with the number of athletes who will be training. After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.

Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!

We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.

Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.

Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.
