Athletic Background
Summary of Career and Accomplishments
I started playing basketball at 8 years old on my father’s youth rec team. I continued to play throughout middle school. When I got to high school I began to take basketball serious because I knew that I wanted to play in college. I began playing AAU and started working with trainers. I played in numerous showcase tournaments against high level talent to gain exposure from college coaches. I went from no offers at the beginning of my senior season to landing a dll offer at Ohio Valley University. My freshman year at OVU I worked myself into the starting lineup after being told I wasn’t going to be apart of that seasons rotation. It just took hard work and dedication.
Who is the best coach you ever had and why?
The best coach I have ever had was my dad. I learned the game from him. He would film all of my games and we would go back and watch so he could critique my performance and show me where I could improve. Even when he’s wasn’t my coach if I was having an off game I could look up at the stands and count on my dads hand signals to show me where I was erroring.
What should athletes and parents know about you?
I want athletes and parents to know that I dedicated 11 years to basketball as an athlete where I gained knowledge , faced adversity and even created a network along the way. Using my expertise, I want to help the next generation of athletes on their basketball journey.
