Building strength and explosive speed to help athletes perform at their best.
Every athlete has another gear waiting to be unlocked. I work one-on-one to break down the mechanics behind power, acceleration, and quickness, then rebuild them through individualized training — so the strength and speed you build in the gym actually shows up on the field, on the court, and in competition.
I help athletes build the physical foundation that great performance is built on. That starts with strength — not just for the sake of getting bigger, but strength that translates directly into speed, power, and control on the field or court. From there, we work on explosiveness: first-step quickness, acceleration, change of direction, and the kind of speed that shows up in game situations, not just in the gym. Every athlete is different, so training is built around your sport, your position, and where you’re at right now — whether that’s adding bat speed and base-running quickness for baseball, or developing the strength and speed foundation that carries over to any sport you play. The goal isn’t just a better workout. It’s a better athlete: more explosive, more confident, and more prepared to perform when it matters most.
A typical session starts with a proper warm-up — dynamic stretching and movement prep to get your body ready to train and reduce the risk of injury. From there, we move into the main training block, which is built around your goals and where you’re at in your development, whether that’s strength work, speed and explosiveness, or a mix of both. Every session is coached, not just programmed, so you’re getting feedback on form and effort in real time. We finish with proper recovery — cool-down and stretching to help your body recover faster and stay ready for the next session. The goal is a structured, purposeful hour every time, not just a random workout.
I played baseball all four years of high school, two of them at the varsity level, in addition to competing in travel baseball. As a pitcher, I posted a sub-2.00 ERA across both my high school and travel seasons, and I was recognized as a Junior All-American. That success carried into my playing career at the college level, where the game continued to sharpen my understanding of what it actually takes to perform — physically and mentally — at a high level. That combination of playing experience and the strength and speed training I was exposed to along the way is what shapes how I coach today.
The best coach I ever had wasn’t a position coach — it was my strength trainer. He taught me how to truly understand my own body and how it moves, and that understanding is what allowed me to take my game to the next level. It’s a big part of why I coach the way I do now: I don’t just want athletes doing exercises, I want them understanding their bodies well enough to keep improving long after our sessions end.
I’ve been through the process of competing at a high level, and I’ve also been through the process of losing it all and having to rebuild. I had two back surgeries and two elbow surgeries, and between them missed a year and a half straight of baseball. That experience taught me what it actually takes to come back from nothing — not just physically, but mentally — and work your way back up to a high level of performance. I don’t coach from theory alone. I’ve lived the process of losing strength, speed, and confidence, and had to rebuild all three from the ground up. That perspective shapes how I train every athlete I work with: patient where it needs to be, but always pushing toward real, lasting progress.

Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!
We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.
Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.
Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.
