I help the more advanced players improve in all aspects of the game. I have a lot of experience as a player and a coach. I coached H.S Basketball for 8 years total (4 years coaching Boys teams & 4 years coaching Girls). Ive worked out/trained kids just starting out all way up to D-1 college recruits! I look forward to working with your kid to help develop their skills needed to successfully play at the next level!
I will help you improve as an all around player or if you want to target a specific skill, all you need to do is send me a message with your request! By sending me your request early, it will allow me to organize a workout plan focusing on your desired skill!
Even though majority of the training will be done on court practicing the skills, I will also implement some time where I will w9rk to improve your basketball IQ by teaching you how to become a better all around player, teammate, and leader on and off the court! (This segment of training will only be for my more advanced players)
To start each session, we will do a variety of agilities, plyometric workouts to improve your coordination and Sport specific movements needed for basketball. These drills will also help condition your mind and your thought process, and improve your mental toughness. This is very important, because it decreases mental fatigue and help you perform at the highest level possible! The remaining time of the session will be on skill development. This is done by going through a variety of skill specific drills at a level that is customized for each individual's skill level!
I will also have you perform a skills test at the end of 2 weeks, so that we can see your improvement and see which skills we need to focus more on the next session!

I have been around basketball my entire life! Ive had multiple players that ive coached receive College Scholarships, so I know what needs to be done to improve and be successful in basketball.
Now, I am not a "baby sitter". You are paying me to work with your kids, because you want results! If you didnt care about results, you would save your money and your kids could just go play pick-up games. I am telling you this to let you know that I do demand a lot, particularly with more advanced players. I am strong believer in Attention To Detail, so every drill will be done properly at correct speed to ensure that you will see the improvement you expect!
Fo my younger kids, I am more focused on teaching the correct fundamentals, and body movements specifically used in Basketball (ex. Workouts to improve their reaction time, and increase their fast twitch muscles, etc..)
Now, I also believe in making drills where kids will enjoy the training and will set goals, so they can visualize and see as they improve!

Once you find a coach that fits your needs, go to their profile, select the package you'd like to purchase, and click 'Book Lessons'. Here, you can reserve your desired number of lessons along with the number of athletes who will be training. After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.
Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!
We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.
Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.
Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.
