About Me:

I’m a mental performance–focused coach with a B.A. in Sport Psychology, an M.A. in Sport Management, and current graduate study in Applied Sport Psychology. I’ve coached middle school and high school cross-country athletes and bring the perspective of an NCAA All-American in both track and cross-country. My coaching style is a blend of science, structure, and genuine care. I focus on helping athletes build confidence, strong habits, emotional control, and resilience, which are skills that translate far beyond sport. I’m passionate about athlete development and committed to helping each athlete grow in a supportive, professional, and high-energy environment.

How I can help you improve your game:

My approach helps athletes perform better by holistically strengthening both the physical and mental sides of their sport. I teach athletes how to manage pressure, build confidence, set practical goals, create consistent routines, and stay focused when it matters most. Using proven sport psychology strategies such as visualization, self-talk, pre-performance routines, attention control, and emotional regulation, I help athletes compete with clarity rather than stress. Whether you’re trying to break through performance plateaus, build better habits, or develop the mindset of an elite competitor, I’ll give you tools that are practical, reliable, and tailored to your needs and personality.

What a typical training session looks like with me:

Training sessions combine physical skill development with mental performance work. We’ll start by holistically checking in on goals, confidence levels, and recent performances. From there, we move into structured training: drills, pacing work, running mechanics, or sport-specific technique, all matched to your age and skill level. Throughout the session, I integrate mental skills such as breathing strategies, focus cues, visualization, and self-talk to help you learn to stay composed and consistent under pressure. We end sessions by reviewing what went well, what we’re improving next, and a simple mental assignment or habit to practice during the week. Every session is individualized, supportive, intentional, and designed to help you grow as both an athlete and a person.

Career summary and accomplishments:

I am a mental performance–driven coach with a B.A. in Sport Psychology with a coaching minor, an M.A. in Sport Management, and I am currently completing an M.S. in Applied Sport Psychology. I’ve coached middle and high school cross-country athletes and helped young runners build strong habits, confidence, and resilience. As an NCAA All-American in track and cross country, I understand long-term athletic development firsthand. My coaching blends sport science, mental skills training, and positive youth development to help athletes reach their potential in a healthy, sustainable way.

Best coach I ever had:

The best coach I ever had was someone who balanced high standards with genuine care; they saw me as an individual first and an athlete second. They communicated clearly, built trust, and understood that training and well-being go hand in hand. They challenged me, but they also listened. That philosophy helps shape my approach by empowering athletes, respecting their individuality, and developing both their performance and their confidence. Their leadership taught me the value of patience and trusting the process, ethical decision-making, and the responsibility coaches have in shaping character, not just results.

What athletes and parents should know about me:

Athletes and parents should know that I coach with professionalism, integrity, and respect, values grounded in the AASP Code of Ethics and within my competence as a mental performance coach. I provide developmentally appropriate training, communicate clearly, protect confidentiality, and keep athlete well-being at the center of every decision. I combine my background in sport psychology with technical coaching to help athletes build confidence, healthy routines, emotional control, and strong mindsets that last a lifetime. I never take a one-size-fits-all approach; every athlete gets individualized attention and a supportive environment where they can grow at their own pace. My goal is to help athletes perform their best and develop the tools to thrive in both sport and life.

Frequently Asked Questions

If you’re looking to message a coach for the first time, go to their profile and click “Send a Message”. A type box will show, where you can enter and send your message. To follow up with a coach you've already contacted, log into your account and find the 'Inbox' tab. You'll see your message history and be able to send another note.

Once you find a coach that fits your needs, go to their profile, select the package you'd like to purchase, and click 'Book Lessons'. Here, you can reserve your desired number of lessons along with the number of athletes who will be training. After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.

Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!

We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.

Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.

Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.

The AU guarantee (refund policy) has you covered! If you find yourself needing to cancel or adjust your booking within 24 hours of your purchase, just let us know. We'll provide a refund - no questions asked. Your satisfaction is our top priority, and we're here to support your learning journey.

Our coaches are open to helping athletes of any age and skill level. Please message your desired coach to ensure their skillset fits your needs.

AU was created by former collegiate and professional athletes. We understand the benefits of training with a private coach. It develops discipline, boosts confidence, and provides an undeniable advantage - whether you are just learning the game or looking to earn a college scholarship. All AU coaches are required to pass a thorough onboarding process and we proudly showcase a 10% acceptance rate, so you can trust you're training with the best.

At the end of the day, our mission is to provide athletes with better opportunities to succeed through coaching. You won't find a platform, and group of dedicated specialists, more excited to help you achieve your athletic goals!
