About Me:

College Soccer:

As a former member of the Davidson College Women's Soccer team, I bring four years of experience competing at the NCAA Division 1 level. Playing as a midfielder, I developed versatility in both attacking and defensive roles, allowing me to connect with players from diverse backgrounds and skill sets. Serving as co-captain of my collegiate team, I honed my leadership abilities both on and off the field, including working with our Student Athlete Advisory Committee to improve communication between players and administrators. These experiences deepened my technical skills, tactical understanding, and leadership capabilities.

Club/High School Soccer & Track:

As a youth player with the Whatcom FC Rangers, I competed at the national level, traveling for tournaments and serving as captain of my club team for several years. At the high school varsity level, I led my team as captain during a state championship-contending season. Beyond soccer, I excelled in Track & Field, specializing in the 800m and earning state titles in the 400m and 4x400m relay. My background in track has instilled a strong appreciation for the critical role fitness plays in enhancing technical and tactical performance on the soccer field.

How I can help you improve your game:

I believe in the importance of building a strong foundation in the fundamentals: dribbling, passing, long-ball distribution, shooting, and fitness. Mastery of these core skills not only boosts a player’s confidence but also allows them to shift their mental focus during games and practices from basic techniques to contributing to the success of the team as a whole.

What a typical training session looks like with me:

As mentioned, I tailor each session to fit the goals of each athlete. We’ll start with a warm-up, then move into some quick drills to work on sharp passes and clean touches. The session will usually wrap up with activities focused on the techniques we’ve been working to improve. I’m always open to feedback and love hearing ideas from my players to make sure we’re staying on track with their goals!

Career summary and accomplishments:

I have experience training athletes in both private and group sessions, working primarily with youth players ages 8-15. My approach is to tailor each session (or series of sessions) towards your goals so we can maximize our time together!

Best coach I ever had:

I still consider myself fortunate to have been trained by my club coach, Joe. He pushed me to see fear and intimidation not as barriers but as motivators to grow and improve, helping me develop resilience and mental toughness. At the same time, he emphasized that success wasn’t about individual effort but about teamwork and togetherness. He fostered a culture of trust and unity, teaching us that we could only achieve our goals by supporting one another. His lessons on perseverance and collaboration continue to influence how I approach challenges and work with others today - both on and off the soccer field.

What athletes and parents should know about me:

My primary goal as a coach is to help athletes reach their full potential, whatever their individual goals may be. I customize each session to meet the unique needs of every player, working together to identify areas of focus and balancing individual growth with team dynamics. I place a strong emphasis on initiative and leadership while fostering a positive and supportive environment that encourages growth and enjoyment in the process. My ultimate aim is to equip players with the skills and mindset for success both on the soccer field and in life.

Frequently Asked Questions

If you’re looking to message a coach for the first time, go to their profile and click “Send a Message”. A type box will show, where you can enter and send your message. To follow up with a coach you've already contacted, log into your account and find the 'Inbox' tab. You'll see your message history and be able to send another note.

Once you find a coach that fits your needs, go to their profile, select the package you'd like to purchase, and click 'Book Lessons'. Here, you can reserve your desired number of lessons along with the number of athletes who will be training. After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.

Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!

We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.

Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.

Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.

The AU guarantee (refund policy) has you covered! If you determine the coach isn't a good fit after your first lesson, let us know within 24 hours and you're eligible for a refund. We will also be happy to recommend another coach - be sure to contact our support team.

Our coaches are open to helping athletes of any age and skill level. Please message your desired coach to ensure their skillset fits your needs.

AU was created by former collegiate and professional athletes. We understand the benefits of training with a private coach. It develops discipline, boosts confidence, and provides an undeniable advantage - whether you are just learning the game or looking to earn a college scholarship. All AU coaches are required to pass a thorough onboarding process and we proudly showcase a 10% acceptance rate, so you can trust you're training with the best.

At the end of the day, our mission is to provide athletes with better opportunities to succeed through coaching. You won't find a platform, and group of dedicated specialists, more excited to help you achieve your athletic goals!
