I grew up playing years of travel ball, through out the years I collected tournament MVP's, USSSA Championship's, and even a few USSSA All American Junior team titles. In high school I was a starter on varsity for four years, I collected 4 hustle and heart awards, 2 Silver Slugger Awards, 2- 1st Team All State Utility, an All State Outfield, and an All State First Baseman. Moving on to college I started at Junior College. I then played a year at Purdue Fort Wayne, and finished my career at Tarleton State University. I was team captain as well as a starter all four years of college. I continued to collect Hustle and Heart Awards throughout all four years of college as well as weekly pitcher awards and all conference pitcher awards and accolades.
My approach is to increase power, flexibility, mechanics, and body awareness. When done right this will increase all aspects of your physical game- speed, average, spin, etc. Another important part of my training is the mental aspect of the game. Work smarter not harder!
A typical training session is an hour long. I build my training program over a previously discussed time frame. The first phase is mechanics to routine plays to game situation to mental game and perfecting. Each training session will start with 10 minutes of mobility and warm ups followed by mechanical drills into full performance. Athletes have the option to be sent home with additional mobility or strength training that coincide with training.
I started coaching while playing college, I made it a priority to participate in camps put on by the colleges I attended. Once out of college and free from NIL I decided to pursue coaching of all ages. At a local baseball academy I focused on pitching and hitting. I had plenty of clients in all spots of the diamond and worked as a strength and conditioning coach for all sports.
The best coach I ever had was in my final years of travel ball. Coach Andrew was the first coach who believed in me and gave me the opportunity to push through struggles on the mound and build confidence as a leader and pitcher. Coach Andrew is also the first coach that introduced the science of pitch calling and playing the sport two steps ahead which I have carried with me in my coaching and have continued to educated myself about through major league baseball.
Athletes and Parents should know that to me softball is about a lot more than a game. While it does not define who you are it can shape you as a person and teach you many lessons about life and how to deal with the realities of struggle. While I care about improving an athlete to the best of their abilities one of my priorities is also connecting with them on a personal level and being a mentor or big sister in life and sports.

If you’re looking to message a coach for the first time, go to their profile and click “Send a Message”. A type box will show, where you can enter and send your message. To follow up with a coach you've already contacted, log into your account and find the 'Inbox' tab. You'll see your message history and be able to send another note.
Once you find a coach that fits your needs, go to their profile, select the package you'd like to purchase, and click 'Book Lessons'. Here, you can reserve your desired number of lessons along with the number of athletes who will be training. After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.
Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!
We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.
Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.
Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.
The AU guarantee (refund policy) has you covered! If you determine the coach isn't a good fit after your first lesson, let us know within 24 hours and you're eligible for a refund. We will also be happy to recommend another coach - be sure to contact our support team.
Our coaches are open to helping athletes of any age and skill level. Please message your desired coach to ensure their skillset fits your needs.
