Former College Lacrosse Player & Youth Coach Focused on Development

I have been playing lacrosse year-round since 2nd grade and recently graduated from Miami University, where I started for three years on the MCLA Division I club lacrosse team. Before transferring to Miami, I was recruited to play NCAA Division III lacrosse at Nazareth University. My experience competing at multiple levels has helped me develop a strong understanding of the game, leadership skills, and a competitive mindset. Along with my playing career, I currently coach youth lacrosse for Building Blocks Lacrosse, where I work with athletes on fundamentals, skill development, confidence, and game IQ. I am passionate about helping players improve both on and off the field while creating a positive and energetic environment that allows athletes to grow and enjoy the game.

About Me:

I recently graduated from Miami University after playing three years on the MCLA Division I club lacrosse team. Before transferring to Miami, I was recruited to play NCAA Division III lacrosse at Nazareth University. I have been playing lacrosse year-round since 2nd grade and have experience competing at high levels in both school and club lacrosse. I currently coach youth lacrosse for Building Blocks Lacrosse and enjoy helping younger athletes grow their confidence, skills, and understanding of the game. I am passionate about creating a positive environment where players can improve while having fun and building a strong work ethic.

How I can help you improve your game:

I focus on helping athletes improve their fundamentals, lacrosse IQ, confidence, and overall consistency on the field. Whether it is stick skills, shooting, dodging, defense, footwork, conditioning, or game strategy, I tailor sessions to each player’s skill level and goals. I also understand the mental side of the game and work to help athletes become more confident, competitive, and prepared in game situations. My goal is to push players to improve while making training sessions positive, energetic, and productive.

What a typical training session looks like with me:

A typical session starts with a warmup and stick work to get comfortable and focused. From there, we work on position-specific drills, footwork, shooting, passing, dodging, defense, or other areas based on the athlete’s goals and skill level. I like to keep sessions fast-paced and competitive while focusing on repetition and proper technique. I also include game-like situations and drills that help players build confidence and improve their decision-making during live play. Every session is designed to help athletes improve while still making the game fun and enjoyable.

Best coach I ever had:

The best coach I ever had was my father. He played collegiate lacrosse at the Division III level for Montclair State before continuing into a coaching career that has lasted more than 20 years at both the high school and youth levels. Growing up around the game and learning from him helped shape me into the player and person I am today. He taught me the importance of hard work, discipline, leadership, and accountability while always pushing me to compete at my highest level. Watching the way he coached and connected with players also inspired my own passion for coaching and helping younger athletes improve both on and off the field.

What athletes and parents should know about me:

Athletes and parents should know that I genuinely care about helping players improve both on and off the field. I bring energy, positivity, patience, and strong communication to every session. I understand that every athlete develops at a different pace, so I focus on building confidence while also challenging players to reach their potential. My goal is to create a safe, competitive, and enjoyable environment where athletes can improve their skills, grow their love for the game, and become more confident in themselves as players and people.

Frequently Asked Questions

If you’re looking to message a coach for the first time, go to their profile and click “Send a Message”. A type box will show, where you can enter and send your message. To follow up with a coach you've already contacted, log into your account and find the 'Inbox' tab. You'll see your message history and be able to send another note.

Once you find a coach that fits your needs, go to their profile, select the package you'd like to purchase, and click 'Book Lessons'. Here, you can reserve your desired number of lessons along with the number of athletes who will be training. After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.

Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!

We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.

Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.

Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.

  • Good Fit Guarantee — If your first lesson isn't the right fit, we'll move your lesson credit to a new coach. No hassle.

  • Easy rescheduling — Cancel or reschedule up to 4 hours before a lesson, no questions asked.

  • Coach no-shows — You'll be fully credited and we'll help you find a replacement.

  • Flexible credits — Unused lessons last 12 months and can be used with any coach on the platform.

AU was created by former college and pro athletes. We understand the benefits of training with a private coach. It develops discipline, boosts confidence, and provides an undeniable advantage - whether you are just learning the game or looking to earn a college scholarship. All AU coaches are required to pass a thorough onboarding process + background check, so you can trust you're training with the best.
