Build better fundamentals, confidence, and game-ready skills.

Improve your mechanics, add velocity, build confidence, and take your game to the next level with personalized training built around you. Learn from an experienced coach who has helped develop high school, college, and professional athletes.

About me

I’m a baseball coach and player development specialist with nearly 20 years of experience coaching and developing athletes from youth baseball through the college level. I’m currently the Pitching Coordinator at St. Edward High School and previously served as Director of Baseball Operations and Player Development for Elite Sports Performance and Cleveland Prospects Baseball. I’ve also coached at the NCAA Division II and III levels and have developed players across all levels of the game. My focus is on improving mechanics, increasing velocity, building confidence, and helping each athlete reach their full potential.

I help athletes improve mechanics, increase velocity and performance, build confidence, and develop the skills and baseball IQ needed to take their game to the next level.

Typical 60-minute session

1. Warm-up & movement – 10 minutes

Dynamic warm-up and mobility

Arm-care routine

Movement prep specific to the player’s position

Quick discussion of what we're working on that day

2. Mechanics & fundamentals – 15 minutes

Break down the player's mechanics

Identify 1–2 key areas to improve

Work through drills designed specifically for those areas

Focus on creating repeatable movements rather than overwhelming the player with too many changes

3. Position-specific training – 20 minutes

For a pitcher, this could include:

Lower-half mechanics

Balance and direction

Arm path and timing

Pitching drills

Bullpen work

Command and pitch development

For younger players, I'd keep it simple and focus heavily on fundamentals, athleticism and building confidence.

4. Competition / game application – 10 minutes

Challenge the player with game-like situations

Incorporate command, decision-making and competing

Help them understand how the skills we're working on translate to games

Big John, he pushed me to be better both as a player and as a person. He held me accountable, expected a lot from me, and never let me settle for being average. What made him different was that he genuinely cared about me beyond baseball. He took the time to understand what motivated me, challenged me when I needed it, and believed in me even when I didn’t always believe in myself.

That experience has had a big impact on the coach I try to be today. I want my players to know that I’m going to push them, hold them accountable, and help them improve, but also that I genuinely care about them and their development. The best coaches don’t just develop better baseball players—they help develop better people.

I want athletes and parents to know that I take player development seriously. My goal is not just to run a workout or throw a bunch of drills at a player. I want to understand where they are today, identify what they need to improve, and build a plan that helps them become a better, more confident baseball player.

I’ve played and coached at multiple levels, including working with high school and college players, and I bring that experience into every session. I’m going to push players, hold them accountable, and expect them to work—but I also want them to enjoy the game and understand why we’re doing what we’re doing.

For parents, you can expect honest communication, professionalism, and a genuine investment in your son’s development. Every player is different, and I believe the best coaching starts with meeting the athlete where they are and helping them take the next step.

My goal is simple: help players build better fundamentals, confidence, and work habits that translate from practice to the game.

Frequently Asked Questions

If you’re looking to message a coach for the first time, go to their profile and click “Send a Message”. A type box will show, where you can enter and send your message. To follow up with a coach you've already contacted, log into your account and find the 'Inbox' tab. You'll see your message history and be able to send another note.

Once you find a coach that fits your needs, go to their profile, select the package you'd like to purchase, and click 'Book Lessons'. Here, you can reserve your desired number of lessons along with the number of athletes who will be training. After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.

Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!

We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.

Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.

Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.

  • Good Fit Guarantee — If your first lesson isn't the right fit, we'll move your lesson credit to a new coach. No hassle.
