I’m a former multi-sport athlete who grew up playing baseball, football, cross country, and track. I’ve also coached Little League baseball, where I focused on helping young athletes develop strong fundamentals, confidence, and a positive mindset. My coaching style emphasizes clear communication, encouragement, and building skills step-by-step so athletes can improve while still enjoying the game. With my background in behavioral health and working with people in high-pressure environments, I also help athletes manage nerves, stay confident, and develop the mental resilience needed to perform their best. I especially enjoy working with youth and developing athletes who want to improve their fundamentals, build confidence, and grow their love for the game.

I grew up playing sports and have always appreciated the lessons athletics teach beyond just competition. My primary sport growing up was baseball, but I also played football and spent two years running cross country and track. Those experiences helped shape my work ethic, discipline, and understanding of how important mindset can be when training and competing.
Outside of sports, I graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in Sociology and a minor in Personal Health and Human Family Development. I have also spent several years in nursing school and working in healthcare and behavioral health settings. These experiences helped me develop strong communication skills and a deeper understanding of how people respond to stress, pressure, and challenges.
I’m married and a father of three young children, which has given me an even greater appreciation for the role coaches play in a young athlete’s life. I understand how important it is for parents to have coaches who are patient, supportive, and focused on helping athletes grow both on and off the field.
I also coached youth baseball through Little League for two seasons before our season was unfortunately cut short due to COVID. Coaching young athletes is something I really enjoy because it allows me to help players build confidence, develop strong fundamentals, and enjoy the game while improving.
I focus on helping athletes improve both their physical skills and their mental approach to sports. Strong fundamentals are important, but confidence, discipline, and mindset are just as important for long-term success.
Some of the ways I help athletes improve include:
• Developing strong baseball fundamentals (throwing, fielding, hitting mechanics)
• Improving focus and confidence during games
• Building positive training habits and discipline
• Learning how to handle pressure and stay mentally strong
• Encouraging a growth mindset when facing challenges or mistakes
My goal is to help athletes develop the skills and confidence they need to keep improving while enjoying the process of getting better.
A typical training session starts with getting to know the athlete and understanding their goals. Every player is different, so I like to tailor each session based on their skill level and what they want to work on.
Sessions typically include:
• Warm-up and movement preparation
• Fundamental skill drills
• Technique adjustments and skill development
• Situational practice and game awareness
• Positive feedback and encouragement throughout the session
I try to keep sessions focused, positive, and engaging so athletes leave feeling confident and motivated to keep improving.
• Multi-sport athlete growing up (baseball, football, cross country, track)
• Little League baseball coach for two seasons
• Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Arizona State University
• Background in healthcare and behavioral health working with individuals in high-pressure situations
• Experience supporting people in stressful environments and helping them develop resilience and confidence
These experiences have helped me develop strong communication skills and the ability to connect with athletes and support their development.
The best coach I ever had was someone who balanced discipline with encouragement. They pushed us to work hard and improve every day, but they also made sure we enjoyed the game and supported each other as teammates.
That coach taught me that confidence and mindset are just as important as physical ability. I try to bring those same values into my own coaching by helping athletes stay positive, learn from mistakes, and continue improving even when things get challenging.
Athletes and parents should know that I truly care about helping players grow in a supportive and positive environment. As both a coach and a parent of three young children, I understand how important it is for athletes to feel encouraged while also being challenged to improve.
I am a very patient coach and always try to do what is best for the athlete. My goal is to meet players where they are and help them grow step by step while building their confidence.
I also believe that sports require both physical and mental preparation. Athletics can be extremely rewarding, but they can also be mentally challenging at times. I work with athletes to help them stay confident, learn from mistakes, and develop the resilience needed to push through difficult moments.
My family and I also come from a strong Christian faith background, which has shaped many of the values I bring into coaching. I emphasize integrity, respect, encouragement, and perseverance while creating a safe and supportive environment for every athlete.
As both a coach and a parent, my goal is to help athletes become not only better players but also more confident and mentally prepared individuals who enjoy the process of improving.

If you’re looking to message a coach for the first time, go to their profile and click “Send a Message”. A type box will show, where you can enter and send your message. To follow up with a coach you've already contacted, log into your account and find the 'Inbox' tab. You'll see your message history and be able to send another note.
Once you find a coach that fits your needs, go to their profile, select the package you'd like to purchase, and click 'Book Lessons'. Here, you can reserve your desired number of lessons along with the number of athletes who will be training. After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.
Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!
We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.
Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.
Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.
