About Me:

I've been passionate about fitness sports and helping others no matter their age beginner elite. My care is taking me from coaching, collegiate, and professional athletes. I love connecting with people, bringing positive energy, and helping others believe in themselves. Whether I'm working with a client, appearing on TV, my goal is always the same to make a positive impact and how people become stronger and more confident versions of themselves.

How I can help you improve your game:

My training method focuses on mobility, stability, strength, power, speed, condition, recovery, and injury prevention. Every client training program is tailored whether to the sport/position, life goals, strengths and any areas of improvement to move better, become stronger, reduce injury risk, and perform at your best not in just competition but every day life.

• Each exercise and movement is based on form, function, and technique by teaching how to perform exercises correctly to gain maximum benefits and produce results pain free.

• Within each workout, Lisa teaches a mind-muscle connection for each exercise by using positive coaching cues to teach clients to feel and acknowledge the way each exercise makes each specific muscle work- engage both the mind and muscles in turn creating more and better results.

• Provide accountability and offer valuable motivation. Participating in regular scheduled sessions as well as accomplish workouts on their own.

• Lisa shares her can-do attitude through modeling behavior and focusing on positive tools for change that sparks client’s inspiration and empowerment.

• Assistance with incremental goal-setting and encourage clients to take the “one-step-at-a-time” approach and we help assess progress towards each short and long term goals accordingly.

• From provide a proper cool down and a post workout stretch, including verbal cues and healthy tips connecting to each group or individual being trained.

What a typical training session looks like with me:

Every session is customized to the client, but a typical training session begins with a dynamic warm-up, mobility and activation exercise to prepare the body and the brain for movement. I then focus on specificity whether its strength, power, speed, agility, balance, or specific training or age specific depending on goals and needs. Sessions also include proper recovery.

Career summary and accomplishments:

• On-Air and in print health and fitness expert- Appear on Great Day Live Tampa Bay 10 Tampa Bay CBS, Bloom show on NBC Tampa, and ABC7SWFL for monthly health and fitness. I have also been Washington DC’s fitness expert appearing on FOX 5, WUSA 9, ABC 7, WJLA, and on Radio-WTOP, ESPN. In print and online; Readers Digest, Livestrong, AARP, Fitbit., Shape, Men’s Journal, Muscle and Fitness, Washington Post and many others.

• Monica Seles Performance Coach/Personal trainer. Lived and traveled with Seles her as her private personal trainer, which included performance coaching, strength and conditioning, and nutrition on the WTA Circuit and at home. While working with Lisa, Seles posted a 75-18 record in WTA Tour events, winning five titles and reaching the final of three other events. Seles also posted wins over Serena Williams, Jennifer Capriati, Martina Hingis during this period and went from being injured off the tour, to being ranked back in the top 5 in the world. Lisa is still friends with Monica today.

• Strength and Conditioning Coordinator at the University of Florida and the United States Naval Academy- first female to hold this position.

• IFBB Pro Fitness Athlete. Earned top fitness honors, achieving professional IFBB status after winning the USA NPC Fitness Nationals. Lisa qualified for the Fitness Olympia and received a special invite to the Arnold Classic, ranked 9th in the World.

• Education and Certifications: M.S. Exercise Physiology, Illinois State University. B.S.,Radford University. TPI Golf Performance Certified, National Strength & Conditioning Association: CSCS, TRX, HKC, and Healthy Moms Certified. Presenter-NSCA National & Personal Training Conferences, Capitol Hill, Capitol Hospice, and many community events. Gymnastics Scholarship recipient/Team Captain, and All-American balance beam

Frequently Asked Questions

If you’re looking to message a coach for the first time, go to their profile and click “Send a Message”. A type box will show, where you can enter and send your message. To follow up with a coach you've already contacted, log into your account and find the 'Inbox' tab. You'll see your message history and be able to send another note.

Once you find a coach that fits your needs, go to their profile, select the package you'd like to purchase, and click 'Book Lessons'. Here, you can reserve your desired number of lessons along with the number of athletes who will be training. After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.

Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!

We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.

Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.

Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.
