Former D1 volleyball athlete and coach focused on athlete development.

Former D 1 volleyball athlete, now volleyball coach and personal trainer. I've been involved in competitive volleyball since I was 10 years old, starting on a nationally competitive travel team and continuing my career as a Division I athlete at Rider University. Along the way, I developed a passion for coaching and mentoring athletes through one-on-one training, skill camps, and club volleyball coaching. As both a volleyball coach and personal trainer, I focus on building strong fundamentals, athletic performance, confidence, and a positive mindset. I enjoy creating supportive training environments where athletes feel motivated to grow both on and off the court, which is why I’m excited about the opportunity to work with Untapped Athletes.

About Me:

I started playing volleyball at 10 years old on a nationally competitive travel team, and continued my career as a Division I athlete at Rider University. Throughout high school and college, I coached one-on-one lessons and skill camps. Later coached a 14-year-old club volleyball team! As a coach and personal trainer, I focus on building confidence, strong fundamentals, and a positive mindset while creating a supportive environment that helps athletes grow both on and off the court!!

How I can help you improve your game:

I can help improve your game by focusing on skill development, confidence, athletic performance, and overall volleyball IQ through personalized training tailored to your goals! Whether you’re looking to strengthen fundamentals, improve position-specific skills, court awarness, or become a more confident athlete, I’ll create a supportive and challenging environment to help you reach the next level.

What a typical training session looks like with me:

A typical session with me includes a dynamic warm-up with stretching, mobility, and strengthening work to prepare the body for performance. From there, we focus on volleyball-specific skills like passing, setting, hitting, and defense with high-rep, game-like drills and direct feedback. I also incorporate competitive situations to build confidence, decision-making, and volleyball IQ. Each session is structured differently to each individual to improve both athletic performance and overall skill development on the court.

Career summary and accomplishments:

Former Division I volleyball athlete at Rider University with 5+ years in wellness as a strength & conditioning coach, personal trainer, and nutrition coach. Volleyball background includes competing at the D1 level, and coaching experience in one-on-one training, skill camps, and club volleyball (14U). I specialize in combining volleyball skill development, court awareness, and volleyball IQ, with strength, mobility, conditioning, and nutrition to build confident, well-rounded athletes in a positive, structured environment.

Best coach I ever had:

Coach Jeff at Rider University greatly shaped my development at the Division I level, especially in mental toughness, volleyball IQ, and overall well-being. I apply these same principles in my coaching by helping athletes build confidence, stay mentally strong, and make smart decisions on and off the court in daily life.

What athletes and parents should know about me:

Athletes and parents should know my coaching goes beyond just skill work. With a background as a Division I volleyball athlete at Rider University and over 5 years in wellness as a strength coach, personal trainer, stretch coach, and nutrition coach, I focus on developing well-rounded athletes. My training combines volleyball fundamentals, strength, mobility, conditioning, and nutrition with an emphasis on mental toughness, confidence, and volleyball IQ. I aim to create a positive, structured environment where athletes are challenged, supported, and set up for long-term success both on the court and outside of the sport of volleyball!

Frequently Asked Questions

If you’re looking to message a coach for the first time, go to their profile and click “Send a Message”. A type box will show, where you can enter and send your message. To follow up with a coach you've already contacted, log into your account and find the 'Inbox' tab. You'll see your message history and be able to send another note.

Once you find a coach that fits your needs, go to their profile, select the package you'd like to purchase, and click 'Book Lessons'. Here, you can reserve your desired number of lessons along with the number of athletes who will be training. After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.

Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!

We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.

Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.

Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.

  • Good Fit Guarantee — If your first lesson isn't the right fit, we'll move your lesson credit to a new coach. No hassle.

  • Easy rescheduling — Cancel or reschedule up to 4 hours before a lesson, no questions asked.

  • Coach no-shows — You'll be fully credited and we'll help you find a replacement.

  • Flexible credits — Unused lessons last 12 months and can be used with any coach on the platform.

AU was created by former college and pro athletes. We understand the benefits of training with a private coach. It develops discipline, boosts confidence, and provides an undeniable advantage - whether you are just learning the game or looking to earn a college scholarship. All AU coaches are required to pass a thorough onboarding process + background check, so you can trust you're training with the best.

At the end of the day, our mission is to provide athletes with better opportunities to succeed through coaching. You won't find a platform, and group of dedicated specialists, more excited to help you achieve your athletic goals!
