My name is L.D., and for more than 20 years I have dedicated my life to developing athletes, leaders, and championship cultures. As a retired U.S. Army Chief Warrant Officer, former collegiate football player, Hall of Fame inductee, college football coach, head football coach, recruiter, and strength and conditioning specialist, I bring a unique blend of leadership, discipline, and athlete development experience to every individual I mentor. Throughout my career, I have coached at the high school and collegiate levels, including helping Trinity University win back-to-back conference championships while serving as Offensive Line Coach, Run Game Coordinator, and Recruiter. I have also developed numerous All-State, All-District, and collegiate athletes, while mentoring student-athletes who advanced to state-level competition in football, track and field, and powerlifting. My coaching philosophy extends far beyond sports. I believe athletics is one of the most powerful platforms for teaching discipline, accountability, resilience, leadership, and character. Whether I am helping an athlete improve performance, guiding families through the recruiting process, mentoring coaches, or developing future leaders, my mission remains the same: **Build Champions by Building Character.** Through Elite GreenMachine, I am committed to helping athletes maximize their potential, families navigate the recruiting journey, and individuals develop the mindset and habits necessary for success in competition, academics, careers, and life.

Today, Coach Green is the Founder and President of Elite GreenMachine, where he provides performance coaching, recruiting consulting, leadership development, strength and conditioning, and mentorship services for athletes, coaches, and families. His mission is to help individuals maximize their athletic potential while developing the character, discipline, and leadership skills necessary for success in sports, academics, and life.
Coach Green's philosophy remains simple:
Person First. Student Always. Athlete with Purpose.
Because championships may last a season, but character lasts a lifetime.
I help athletes improve their game by developing a personalized plan built around their goals, strengths, and areas for growth.
Every athlete begins with an assessment that includes measurable performance testing to evaluate speed, agility, strength, power, mobility, and position-specific skills. This data-driven approach allows me to identify strengths, uncover opportunities for improvement, and establish a baseline for tracking progress.
From there, I create a customized training program designed specifically for the athlete. Whether the goal is increasing speed, improving strength, enhancing position-specific techniques, developing explosiveness, improving movement efficiency, or preparing for the next level of competition, every workout is tailored to meet the athlete's individual needs.
My coaching goes beyond physical training. I help athletes develop confidence, discipline, leadership, and a competitive mindset that translates to success both on and off the field.
I can help you:
• Assess your current performance through measurable testing
• Identify strengths and areas for improvement
• Improve position-specific technique and fundamentals
• Increase speed, agility, strength, and explosiveness
• Develop confidence and mental toughness
• Build a personalized development plan aligned with your goals
• Track progress through objective performance metrics
• Prepare for high school, college, and beyond
My goal is simple: provide every athlete with a customized roadmap for success while helping them maximize their potential and become the best version of themselves.
Every athlete begins with a comprehensive performance assessment to establish baseline measurements and identify strengths, opportunities for improvement, and performance goals. Once the assessment is complete, each training session is customized to support the athlete's specific development plan.
Training sessions are typically 60–90 minutes; however, session length may be adjusted based on the athlete's age, goals, training package, sport, position, and specific developmental needs.
A typical session includes:
1. Dynamic Warm-Up & Movement Preparation
* Mobility and flexibility exercises
* Dynamic stretching
* Movement mechanics
* Injury prevention exercises
* Sport-specific activation drills
2. Speed, Agility & Athletic Development
* Sprint mechanics
* Acceleration and deceleration training
* Change-of-direction drills
* Footwork and reaction training
* Position-specific movement patterns
3. Strength & Power Development
* Individualized strength training based on assessment results
* Explosive power exercises
* Core development
* Balance and stability training
* Progressive overload and performance tracking
4. Position-Specific Skill Development
* Technique refinement
* Fundamental skill work
* Position-specific drills
* Competitive scenarios and game application
* Film-based corrections when applicable
5. Conditioning & Competitive Training
* Energy system development
* Sport-specific conditioning

* Competitive performance drills
6. Recovery & Performance Review

Signature Mission
"Building Champions by Building Character"
Developing athletes, leaders, and future professionals through performance, preparation, accountability, and purpose.
The best coaches I have ever had were my father and grandfather. They laid the foundation for who I am today, not only as a coach, but as a husband, father, leader, and mentor. They taught me the values of discipline, accountability, hard work, integrity, and perseverance—lessons that have guided me throughout my life, from my days as a player to my current coaching career.
As a young athlete, I was fortunate to learn from outstanding coaches who helped shape my development. My junior high coach, Coach Nixon, and my high school coaches, Coach Stuart, Coach Garmen, and Coach Miller, taught me the importance of teamwork, selflessness, and what it means to be a great teammate. They showed me that success is built on trust, commitment, and putting the team above yourself.
At the collegiate level, Coaches Grim, Teresa and Carroll elevated my understanding of the game. They taught me the importance of preparation, attention to detail, and studying your opponent. They emphasized that championships are often won by those who consistently do the little things right.
As I transitioned into coaching, I was blessed to work alongside and learn from incredible mentors, including Coaches Martinez, Brenner, Enrico, Mohr, Bruce, and Schull. These men taught me that great coaching begins with great teaching. They demonstrated how to connect with athletes, build relationships, develop young people, and create cultures of accountability and excellence. Their mentorship helped shape my coaching philosophy and reinforced the belief that our responsibility extends far beyond wins and losses.
While I have learned valuable lessons from many coaches throughout my journey, it all started with my father and grandfather. Their influence continues to guide me every day, and the lessons they taught remain the foundation of how I coach, lead, and serve others.
I believe every athlete deserves a coach who sees them as more than just a player. My philosophy is simple:
"Person First. Student Always. Athlete with Purpose."
Before I focus on athletic performance, I focus on the individual. My goal is to help athletes grow as people, succeed as students, and excel as competitors. I believe the lessons learned through sports—discipline, accountability, resilience, confidence, and leadership—have a lasting impact far beyond the game.
As a coach, I am committed to providing individualized instruction, honest feedback, and a positive environment where athletes are challenged, supported, and encouraged to reach their full potential. Every athlete is different, which is why I take the time to assess their strengths, identify opportunities for growth, and develop a personalized plan that aligns with their goals.
Parents can expect open communication, professionalism, and a genuine investment in their child's development. Athletes can expect a coach who will motivate them, hold them accountable, celebrate their progress, and teach them how to compete with confidence and character.
Success is not measured solely by wins, statistics, or scholarships. True success is helping young people become disciplined, responsible, and confident individuals who are prepared for the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.
My commitment is simple: to help every athlete become the best version of themselves—first as a person, then as a student, and ultimately as an athlete.

We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!
We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place.
