Get to know Konnor

Former Division I player specializing in hitting, catching, and infield.

I'm a former NCAA Division I baseball player and current Pullman High School coach with experience playing at three different collegiate programs, giving me a unique perspective on player development and the recruiting process. I specialize in hitting, catching, and infield instruction, focusing on building fundamentally sound players who compete with confidence and purpose. Whether you're just starting out or working toward playing at the collegiate level, I provide personalized instruction that helps athletes improve their skills, understand the game, and achieve their goals both on and off the field.

About me

Aloha! I'm Konnor, and I was born and raised on the beautiful island of Maui, Hawaiʻi. Growing up in Hawaiʻi taught me the value of hard work, humility, and representing something bigger than myself every time I stepped onto the field. Baseball has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, and it has taken me on an incredible journey across the country.

After playing at Kamehameha Schools Maui, I continued my career at the University of Hawaiʻi, Everett Community College, and California State University, Bakersfield. Along the way, I learned from outstanding coaches, competed alongside talented teammates, and experienced the recruiting and transfer process firsthand. Those experiences shaped not only the player I became but also the coach I am today.

I currently coach at Pullman High School, where I specialize in hitting, catching, and infield development. I love helping athletes grow both on and off the field by building confidence, teaching the finer details of the game, and creating an environment where players can enjoy the process of getting better every day. Whether your goal is making the varsity team, playing college baseball, or simply becoming a more confident player, I'm committed to helping you reach your full potential.

I specialize in hitting, catching, and infield instruction, but my coaching goes far beyond mechanics. My goal is to help players understand why they're doing something, not just how to do it. When athletes understand the game, they become more confident and consistent.

Whether you're looking to improve your swing, become a stronger defender, increase your baseball IQ, or prepare for the recruiting process, I'll create a plan that's tailored specifically to your goals. Having played at multiple collegiate programs, I can also provide honest guidance on recruiting, what college coaches look for, and how to stand out throughout the process.

Every lesson is designed around the individual athlete. We begin by identifying goals and discussing what we're working on that day. From there, we'll focus on quality repetitions with clear instruction and immediate feedback.

For hitters, we'll work on swing mechanics, approach, timing, pitch recognition, and game-like situations. Catchers will focus on receiving, blocking, footwork, throwing mechanics, and game management. Infielders will develop footwork, glove work, throwing accuracy, and defensive instincts.

I believe players improve the most when they understand the purpose behind every drill, so I make every rep intentional. My sessions are detail-oriented and built to maximize improvement while keeping the game fun.

The best coach I ever had was someone who believed in me as a person before focusing on me as a player. They pushed me to become better every day, held me accountable, and challenged me to step outside of my comfort zone while still creating an environment where I felt supported.

What stood out most was their ability to develop not only my baseball skills but also my confidence, mindset, and approach to the game. They taught me the importance of preparation, discipline, and doing the little things the right way.

The impact they had on my career is a big reason why I coach the way I do today. I want every athlete I work with to feel valued, understand that improvement takes time, and know that I genuinely care about helping them reach their goals both as a player and as a person.

I'm fully invested in every athlete I work with. My goal isn't just to help players perform better during lessons; it's to help them build skills and habits that carry over into games and throughout their baseball journey.

Parents can expect honest communication, professionalism, and a coach who genuinely wants what's best for their child. Athletes can expect a positive, challenging environment where they'll be encouraged to work hard, ask questions, compete with confidence, and have fun. Whether your goal is making the starting lineup, playing in college, or simply becoming a more confident player, I'm committed to helping you get there.

Frequently Asked Questions

If you’re looking to message a coach for the first time, go to their profile and click “Send a Message”. A type box will show, where you can enter and send your message. To follow up with a coach you've already contacted, log into your account and find the 'Inbox' tab. You'll see your message history and be able to send another note.

Once you find a coach that fits your needs, go to their profile, select the package you'd like to purchase, and click 'Book Lessons'. Here, you can reserve your desired number of lessons along with the number of athletes who will be training. After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.

Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!

We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.

Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.

Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.
