Hi! I’m Coach Katie, a Speed and Performance Director and graduate student finishing my M.S. in Applied Sports Performance at West Chester University (’25). I’m also a rugby and track athlete, so I genuinely understand what it takes to train hard, stay consistent, and compete with confidence.
I’m passionate about helping athletes get faster, stronger, and more powerful through sprint mechanics, strength training, and mindset development. I love coaching the details that actually make the difference, and I take a lot of pride in building athletes up as people, not just performers.
I bring high energy, high standards, and a real love for the process. My goal is for every athlete I coach to leave sessions feeling more confident, more capable, and excited to keep improving.
I help athletes improve their game by building real speed, power, and confidence that shows up in competition. We will focus on sprint mechanics, acceleration, and max velocity so you move more efficiently and explosively. I also incorporate strength training fundamentals to help you produce more force, stay durable, and translate your work directly to your sport. Every session is structured, high energy, and tailored to your goals, so you see progress quickly while learning how to train the right way long-term.
A typical session with me is structured, high energy, and built around your goals. We start with a dynamic warm-up and movement prep to get your body ready to move fast and safely. Then we go into sprint mechanics drills to clean up technique and reinforce efficient patterns. The main work includes acceleration and/or max velocity sprint reps with coaching feedback after each rep so you can make real-time adjustments. Depending on your sport and needs, we may finish with strength and power work, plyometrics, or conditioning. Every session is intentional, competitive, and designed to help you leave feeling faster, stronger, and more confident.
I am a Speed and Performance Director with a strong background in coaching sprint mechanics, strength development, and athlete confidence from youth through collegiate levels. I earned my M.S. in Applied Sports Performance from West Chester University and hold my NSCA CSAC certification. My coaching experience spans both private performance and collegiate environments, including XPE Sports, Adrenaline Sports Performance, and Yale Football Strength and Conditioning, where I helped support high-output training that demanded precision, consistency, and high standards. In my current role at Power Train, I lead speed and strength sessions that focus on acceleration, max velocity mechanics, power development, and durable movement patterns that transfer directly to sport. I also support the business side through athlete outreach, membership conversations, and creating a strong training experience that keeps athletes bought in and progressing. My proudest accomplishments come from athlete results and development. I have helped athletes improve sprint form, increase confidence in their speed, and build strength that carries over to competition. I take pride in being a coach athletes trust, one who brings energy, structure, accountability, and real feedback, while still making training something athletes enjoy and want to come back for.
The best coach I ever had was my college rugby coach. He saw potential in me when I had no experience and barely knew the game, and from day one he pushed me to grow every single practice. Over time, we built a relationship that went way beyond rugby. He became someone I could trust and go to with anything, whether it was something on the field or something I was dealing with in life. He also stood by me through some tough injuries and helped me stay mentally strong when things got hard. As I became more passionate about sports performance, he trusted me to step into a leadership role and even allowed me to lead our conditioning and speed work at practice. That belief in me and the standard he held me to shaped how I coach today.
Athletes and parents should know that I coach with high energy, high standards, and a lot of care. I will always meet athletes where they are, but I will also push them to grow and expect effort, focus, and consistency. My goal is not just to make athletes faster, but to help them become stronger, more confident, and more disciplined through the process. I take sprint mechanics, strength development, and mindset seriously, and I make sure every session is structured, safe, and purposeful. Most importantly, I want every athlete I work with to feel supported, challenged, and proud of their progress.

If you’re looking to message a coach for the first time, go to their profile and click “Send a Message”. A type box will show, where you can enter and send your message. To follow up with a coach you've already contacted, log into your account and find the 'Inbox' tab. You'll see your message history and be able to send another note.
Once you find a coach that fits your needs, go to their profile, select the package you'd like to purchase, and click 'Book Lessons'. Here, you can reserve your desired number of lessons along with the number of athletes who will be training. After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.
Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!
We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.
Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.
Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.
