Athletic Background
Summary of Career and Accomplishments
I was fortunate to be able to run cross country and track & field at a D1 program at the University of Vermont. I specialized in the middle distance events, running top 10 all-time program marks in the 800m and the 1 mile. I also helped lead my team to a school record in the 4 x 800m relay. I continue to run competitively and have enjoyed challenging myself by moving up in distance to the half marathon and full-marathon races.
Who is the best coach you ever had and why?
My college coach, Coach Belfield, was the most influential coach I've had in my career. He challenged me to become the best version of myself and the toughest competitor when I stepped on the line. His unwavering belief in me helped build my confidence that a small-town girl like myself could compete at a high level.
What should athletes and parents know about you?
Running and track & field is my passion! I hope to share this passion with younger athletes and help them cultivate a life-long love for the sport :)

How can you help someone improve their game?
By using sound, safe, evidence-based skill development and training progression to improve an athlete's weaknesses and continually hone their strengths.
What does a typical training session look like?
Depending on an athlete's goals and what season they're in, a typical training session might include a warm-up and drills emphasizing safe, efficient, and proper biomechanics, followed by intervals designed to enhance either speed or aerobic endurance development. Some training sessions may include strength and core work designed to prevent injury and create a strong, healthy foundation for continued performance development. All sessions will conclude with a cooldown and mobility work to help the body recover faster in between sessions.
