About Me:

Hi, I’m Kaitlyn! I’m a mental performance coach and former collegiate soccer player, passionate about helping athletes strengthen the mental side of their game. Through my experience competing and coaching, I saw firsthand how confidence, focus, and the ability to handle pressure can make a major difference in performance.

I hold a master’s degree in Human Wellness and Performance with a concentration in Sport, Exercise, and Performance Psychology, and I use evidence-based strategies to help athletes build the mental skills needed to perform consistently and confidently. My approach focuses on developing confidence, managing pressure, improving focus, and creating routines that support athletes both in competition and in their everyday lives.

My goal is to create a supportive and energetic environment where athletes feel understood, challenged, and empowered to grow, not just as competitors, but as people.

How I can help you improve your game:

I help athletes improve their performance by developing the mental skills that support confidence, focus, and consistency in competition. Together, we work on strategies to manage pressure, bounce back from mistakes, stay present in the moment, and build strong performance routines.

Through evidence-based mental performance techniques such as goal setting, visualization, self-talk, and attentional control, athletes learn how to train their mindset just like they train their physical skills. My goal is to give athletes practical tools they can use in training and competition so they feel prepared, confident, and able to perform at their best.

What a typical training session looks like with me:

A typical session can take place either virtually through a video call or in person. We begin by discussing the athlete’s current performance level, their experiences in training or competition, and what areas of the mental side of their game they would like to improve.

From there, I may use performance observations, guided reflection, and brief assessments or questionnaires to understand better the athlete’s mindset, strengths, and areas for growth. This helps us gather meaningful information so our work together is tailored specifically to the athlete.

Once we identify key focus areas, we begin implementing practical mental performance skills such as goal setting, visualization, self-talk strategies, focus and attentional control, and performance routines. Each session is designed to give athletes tools they can immediately apply in training and competition to build confidence, consistency, and resilience.

Career summary and accomplishments:

I am a former collegiate soccer player with a strong background in coaching and mental performance. I earned my Master’s degree in Human Wellness and Performance with a concentration in Sport, Exercise, and Performance Psychology, where I focused on understanding how mental skills influence performance, confidence, and resilience in athletes.

After my playing career, I transitioned into coaching and mental performance work, where I have supported athletes in developing both their skills and their mindset. My work focuses on helping athletes build confidence, improve focus, manage pressure, and develop routines that support consistent performance. I am passionate about helping athletes grow not only as competitors but also as individuals.

Best coach I ever had:

The coach I played under in a league in South Australia. She was tough but also cared so much about her players.

What athletes and parents should know about me:

One thing athletes and parents should know about me is that I truly care about the work I do and the people I work with. I show up to every session committed to supporting each athlete and helping them grow. Building trust and creating a space where athletes feel comfortable, supported, and understood is very important to me.

I am deeply passionate about the mental side of performance and believe these skills can positively impact athletes far beyond their sport. My goal is to equip young athletes with practical mental tools, like confidence building, focus, and resilience, that they can use not only to perform better in competition but also to grow into stronger, more self-aware individuals.

For me, this work is about more than performance. It’s about helping athletes develop the mindset and life skills that will support them both on and off the field.

Frequently Asked Questions

If you’re looking to message a coach for the first time, go to their profile and click “Send a Message”. A type box will show, where you can enter and send your message. To follow up with a coach you've already contacted, log into your account and find the 'Inbox' tab. You'll see your message history and be able to send another note.

Once you find a coach that fits your needs, go to their profile, select the package you'd like to purchase, and click 'Book Lessons'. Here, you can reserve your desired number of lessons along with the number of athletes who will be training. After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.

Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!

We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.

Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.

Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.

  • Good Fit Guarantee — If your first lesson isn't the right fit, we'll move your lesson credit to a new coach. No hassle.
