I’m passionate about helping athletes grow as players, leaders, and confident young people. My coaching style combines high-level skill development, mental performance, accountability, and positive energy to create training environments where athletes feel challenged, supported, and motivated to improve every day.
As a former NCAA basketball player and current athletics leader in New York City, I understand the importance of fundamentals, preparation, confidence, and mindset in athlete development. I’ve coached athletes from Kindergarten through the collegiate level, including developmental clinics, AAU basketball, varsity athletics, and off-season skills training.
Whether I’m working with beginners learning foundational skills or advanced athletes preparing for competitive play, I focus on individualized instruction, game IQ, leadership, and helping athletes develop a genuine love for the game. My goal is for every athlete to leave sessions more skilled, mentally stronger, and more confident than when they arrived.
I help athletes improve their game by focusing on skill development, confidence, mental performance, and game IQ in a positive and challenging environment. My training sessions are designed to help athletes build strong fundamentals, improve decision-making, compete with confidence, and develop habits that translate directly into games.
Whether you’re a beginner learning the basics or a competitive athlete preparing for varsity or AAU play, I create individualized training plans tailored to your goals, skill level, and learning style. I emphasize repetition with purpose, attention to detail, leadership, discipline, and helping athletes become more confident both on and off the court.
Areas of focus include:
* Ball-handling and footwork
* Shooting mechanics and finishing
* Volleyball fundamentals and positional skills
* Defensive technique and movement
* Game IQ and decision-making
* Confidence and mental performance
* Leadership and communication
* Conditioning and competitive mindset
My goal is to help athletes not only improve their skills, but also build the confidence, resilience, and mindset needed to succeed in sports and beyond.
A typical training session with me is high-energy, organized, challenging, and encouraging. Every workout is tailored to the athlete’s age, skill level, goals, and learning style to ensure they are improving in a way that is both effective and enjoyable.
Sessions usually begin with a dynamic warm-up focused on movement, coordination, footwork, and injury prevention. From there, we move into skill development work that may include ball-handling, shooting, finishing, passing, defensive movement, volleyball fundamentals, or position-specific training depending on the athlete and sport.
I focus heavily on:
* Strong fundamentals
* Game-speed repetitions
* Decision-making and game IQ
* Mental performance and confidence-building
* Leadership and communication
* Competitive, game-like situations
For younger athletes, sessions are designed to be engaging, developmental, and confidence-building while teaching foundational movement and sport skills. For advanced athletes, workouts become more detailed, intense, and game-focused with an emphasis on competitive readiness and mental toughness.
I believe athletes learn best when they are challenged, encouraged, and actively engaged throughout training. My goal is for every athlete to leave sessions feeling more confident, mentally stronger, and more prepared to compete.

The best coaches I’ve had were the ones who challenged me, believed in me, and cared about me beyond sports. They held me accountable, pushed me to compete at a high level, and helped me build confidence not only as an athlete, but as a leader and person.
What impacted me most was their ability to balance high expectations with support and encouragement. They understood that great coaching is about more than wins and losses — it’s about building relationships, teaching life lessons, developing mental toughness, and helping athletes grow through adversity.
That experience continues to shape my own coaching philosophy today. I strive to create an environment where athletes feel challenged, supported, confident, and empowered to become the best version of themselves both on and off the court.
Athletes and parents should know that I care deeply about building confidence, strong relationships, and creating a positive experience through sports. I believe great coaching goes beyond skill development — it’s about helping athletes grow as competitors, leaders, teammates, and confident young people.
I bring a high-energy, encouraging, and detail-oriented coaching style to every session. I will challenge athletes to work hard, stay disciplined, compete with confidence, and develop strong habits both mentally and physically. At the same time, I prioritize creating an environment where athletes feel supported, motivated, and comfortable making mistakes as part of the learning process.
Communication and trust are very important to me. I believe parents should feel confident that their athlete is being coached in a positive, organized, and development-focused environment. My goal is for every athlete to leave sessions more skilled, mentally stronger, and more confident than when they arrived.

If you’re looking to message a coach for the first time, go to their profile and click “Send a Message”. A type box will show, where you can enter and send your message. To follow up with a coach you've already contacted, log into your account and find the 'Inbox' tab. You'll see your message history and be able to send another note.
Once you find a coach that fits your needs, go to their profile, select the package you'd like to purchase, and click 'Book Lessons'. Here, you can reserve your desired number of lessons along with the number of athletes who will be training. After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.
Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!
We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.
Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.
Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.
Good Fit Guarantee — If your first lesson isn't the right fit, we'll move your lesson credit to a new coach. No hassle.
