Former Athlete At Manhattanville University
I understand the dedication, discipline, and mental toughness required to reach the next level. Throughout my basketball journey, I have learned from elite trainers, college coaches, and talented teammates, and I continue to seek opportunities to expand my knowledge of player development. One of the core principles of my coaching philosophy is striving to get 1% better every day. Consistent improvement, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic are qualities I encourage in every athlete I work with. My coaching philosophy extends beyond basketball skills. I place a strong emphasis on confidence, resilience, and mental well-being. I teach athletes that not every shot will go in, not every game will be won, and not every workout will be perfect. Growth comes from learning how to respond to challenges, setbacks, and adversity. My goal is to help athletes develop both as players and as people. Communication is one of my greatest strengths as a coach. I strive to create an environment where athletes feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and expressing themselves. I am approachable, supportive, and honest in my feedback. I want every athlete to know they have a coach who genuinely cares about their success and well-being, both on and off the court.
Whether you’re just starting out or looking to sharpen your skills, my training sessions are built to help athletes grow in confidence, basketball IQ, and overall skill development. From ball handling and shooting to game-speed decision making, every rep matters.
A typical training session with me is fast-paced, structured, and tailored to the athlete's skill level and goals. Sessions begin with a dynamic warm-up, followed by skill development focused on ball handling, shooting, footwork, finishing, or game-specific moves. I emphasize proper technique, attention to detail, and game-like repetitions to help athletes build confidence and translate skills into competition. Throughout the session, I provide positive feedback, encouragement, and coaching points while challenging athletes to push themselves and improve every day.
I have played competitive basketball for the past 14 years and continued my career at the collegiate level. I graduated from Manhattanville University in 2026 with a Bachelor's degree in Sports Studies and a minor in Nutrition.
As a four-year member of the Manhattanville University Women's Basketball Team (2022–2026), I helped lead the program to three Skyline Conference Championship appearances. During my collegiate career, I set the Manhattanville University record for career three-point percentage (.369) and tied the program record twice for most three-pointers made in a single game (7). I finished my career with 721 points, 309 rebounds, 90 assists, and 86 steals. I was also inducted into the Chi Alpha Sigma National College Athlete Honor Society in recognition of my academic excellence, leadership, and athletic achievements.
The best coach I ever had was Kate Vlahakis at Manhattanville University. She was passionate about helping every athlete improve and pushed us to be our best every day. She held us accountable, believed in us even when we doubted ourselves, and genuinely cared about our success both on and off the court. Her leadership, dedication, and ability to build strong relationships with her players have had a lasting impact on me and continue to influence the way I coach today.
Athletes and parents should know that I combine high-level playing experience, coaching experience, and a genuine passion for helping athletes grow both on and off the court. As a former collegiate basketball player, I understand the dedication and work ethic required to improve. My goal is to help athletes build confidence, develop strong fundamentals, and reach their full potential in a positive and supportive environment. I believe in teaching more than just basketball skills-I strive to help athletes develop discipline, resilience, leadership, and a love for the game.

If you’re looking to message a coach for the first time, go to their profile and click “Send a Message”. A type box will show, where you can enter and send your message. To follow up with a coach you've already contacted, log into your account and find the 'Inbox' tab. You'll see your message history and be able to send another note.
Once you find a coach that fits your needs, go to their profile, select the package you'd like to purchase, and click 'Book Lessons'. Here, you can reserve your desired number of lessons along with the number of athletes who will be training. After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.
Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!
We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.
Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.
Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.
