My name is Joseph, and I bring both playing and coaching experience to athlete development. I was a four-year varsity starter in high school football and went on to play college football, which gave me firsthand experience in what it takes to compete at a high level and succeed within a team culture. As a coach, I focus on developing complete athletes by teaching fundamentals, discipline, accountability, and leadership. My goal is not only to improve athletic performance but also to help young players build the habits and mindset necessary for success on and off the field.

My name is Joseph, and I am a middle school social studies teacher and football coach with experience developing young student-athletes both in the classroom and on the field. As the Assistant Football Coordinator at Beech Grove Middle School, I helped coach and organize a program focused on teamwork, discipline, and skill development while maintaining strong communication with players, parents, and fellow coaches.
My background in education gives me a unique advantage as a coach because I understand how to teach, motivate, and connect with students of different learning styles and ability levels. I believe successful football programs are built on accountability, effort, and relationships. I strive to create an environment where athletes grow not only as players but also as leaders, teammates, and young men of character.
I can improve your game by developing proper technique, footwork, leverage, and football IQ to help you play faster and more confidently. As an offensive line coach, I focus on fundamentals, hand placement, footwork, and finishing blocks to help athletes maximize their potential. I help players become more physical, technically sound, and consistent through detailed instruction and repetition."

Experienced football coach and former collegiate athlete committed to developing fundamentally sound, disciplined, and competitive student-athletes. Combines firsthand playing experience with a background in education to effectively teach technique, build relationships, and foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Proven leader who is passionate about helping athletes maximize their potential both on the field and in the classroom.
"The best coach I ever had was Coach Micah Brown because he genuinely cared about his players. He worked incredibly hard, pushed me through difficult moments, and served as a great role model. He taught me that coaching is about developing people, not just athletes, and that's a philosophy I carry into my own coaching today."
Parents should know that I am committed to developing the whole athlete, not just improving performance on the football field. As a licensed educator, middle school teacher, current football coach, former college football player, and four-year varsity starter, I bring both playing and coaching experience to every training session.
My approach emphasizes proper technique, safety, discipline, accountability, and character development. I believe that fundamentals and good habits are the foundation of athletic success, and I strive to create a positive environment where athletes are challenged, encouraged, and supported.

If you’re looking to message a coach for the first time, go to their profile and click “Send a Message”. A type box will show, where you can enter and send your message. To follow up with a coach you've already contacted, log into your account and find the 'Inbox' tab. You'll see your message history and be able to send another note.
Once you find a coach that fits your needs, go to their profile, select the package you'd like to purchase, and click 'Book Lessons'. Here, you can reserve your desired number of lessons along with the number of athletes who will be training. After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.
Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!
We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.
Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.
Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.
Good Fit Guarantee — If your first lesson isn't the right fit, we'll move your lesson credit to a new coach. No hassle.
Easy rescheduling — Cancel or reschedule up to 4 hours before a lesson, no questions asked.
Coach no-shows — You'll be fully credited and we'll help you find a replacement.
Flexible credits — Unused lessons last 12 months and can be used with any coach on the platform.
