I have years of both athletic and coaching experience that ranges from a wide group of ages. Athletics is my passion and I would love to be able to share that and help athletes reach their full potential.

Hi! I am a D1 athlete based in the Chicago area. I am 20 years old, and studying Kinesiology with a specialty in strength and conditioning. I have been running/coaching for 6 years now. I primarily run the 100, 200, and 400. My coaching philosophy is to help athletes reach their potential while keeping the sport fun and lighthearted.
I have experienced many coaching styles in my years, and have gotten positive feedback in past coaching jobs. I believe that no matter what age the athlete is, there is more to a sport than performance. Excelling as an athlete involves performance, rest, mental game, nutrition, etc. While I do coach my athletes hard to help improve their performance and write some tough workouts, I view them as people first. In my experience this helps the athlete avoid burnout and keeps them mentally in it, which is crucial to improve.
A typical training session starts with a warmup both static and dynamic, and during this time I like to check in with the athlete and see how they are feeling both mentally and physically. Next we get into some sprint drills and plyometrics to build that power base. Depending on the athletes events, we get into the running portion. For my 100m and 200m athletes we do a lot of short accelerations and start work. For my 200m and 400m athletes I focus more on sprint endurance. Finally I have them go through a cool down to help with mitigating soreness.
In high school I ran track for 2 seasons and assistant coached for 2. I ran my freshman and senior season, and coached sophomore and junior years due to injury. However, during high school I was a 3x state qualifier in the 4x4, and 2x state medalist. Then, I committed to run D1 track at UIC. In my time at UIC I have made substantial progress. I hold the school record in the indoor 300m, outdoor 4x200, and outdoor 4x400. I also hold the freshman record in the indoor 300m and outdoor 200m. I am the 3rd fastest 100m runner in school history, the 4th fastest 200m runner in school history, and 6th fastest in school history in the 400m.
The best coach I ever had was my high school track coach. While I loved recreational running already, it was because of his coaching philosophy that I fell in love with competitive sprints. He always valued me as a person not just a point scorer and encouraged me to do the best I could while also understanding that every race cannot be a PR.
I can be a tough coach because of the workouts I write. They are made for each individual, but they are typically rigorous. Awhile the workouts are hard and I push the athletes hard, I am also quite a positive and encouraging person. In my past coaching job I was voted best coach two season in a row and that was voted on by both parents and kids. My career goal is to coach and I am passionate about athletics, so I am excited to pass that forward.

If you’re looking to message a coach for the first time, go to their profile and click “Send a Message”. A type box will show, where you can enter and send your message. To follow up with a coach you've already contacted, log into your account and find the 'Inbox' tab. You'll see your message history and be able to send another note.
Once you find a coach that fits your needs, go to their profile, select the package you'd like to purchase, and click 'Book Lessons'. Here, you can reserve your desired number of lessons along with the number of athletes who will be training. After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.
Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!
We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.
Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.
Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.
Good Fit Guarantee — If your first lesson isn't the right fit, we'll move your lesson credit to a new coach. No hassle.
