Why Train With Me?

Hey, my name is Jordan Hayes. I played all 4 years during my time at Towson University where I played in 2 CAA Championship games. After graduating from Towson, I transferred to St. Johns to join their varsity team leading them to 4 wins after a 0 win season. I was coached by defensive coach Steve Grossi at Towson and learned the best defensive drills for footwork, groundballs, and physical defense. Come train with me to learn the grit and aggressiveness that runs through the legendary Towson team.

Who is the best coach you ever had and why?
Shawn Nadelen is the best coach I've ever had. He raised the standard that I held myself to the highest level that a man should hold themselves to. Our standards at Towson were Accountability, Compete, and Toughness. Standards that I still hold myself to. He was able to bring out the best in all his players while still being a family man and showing the team his love and respect. His tenacity was spread throughout his whole team and was evident in the passion that we played with.
What should athletes and parents know about you?
I am a grinder and a hard worker. I want the best for each kid I train and will teach them the important fundamentals that will stick with them forever. I care for people but also am a fierce competitor. I really just want the best for every kid I train and tailor the training specific to them

How can you help someone improve their game?
The best way that any player can improve their game is stick work and footwork. I have experience with college-level stickwork and footwork drills from the best Division-1 coaches in the country.
What does a typical training session look like?
Start with stick work and footwork so the basics and fundamentals of lacrosse are honed and improved every training session. My training session is fast-paced but planned so the player gets conditioning as well as important drills done. Each week is built on the other so the important skills are built on and improved every time.
