About Me:

Football has been a huge part of my life, and the lessons it teaches go far beyond the field. As a former offensive lineman, I learned the importance of discipline, preparation, teamwork, and resilience—values I bring into every training session. Playing in the trenches taught me that success comes from mastering the fundamentals, staying consistent, and developing the right mindset.

I’m passionate about helping athletes improve their technique, footwork, leverage, and overall understanding of the game. Whether it’s a young player just starting out or someone looking to sharpen their skills, my goal is to build confidence and strong fundamentals that translate directly to game performance.

I believe great training is about more than drills—it’s about creating an environment where athletes feel motivated to work hard, learn, and grow. My focus is helping players become stronger, smarter, and more confident both on and off the field.

My training is focused on helping athletes develop the fundamentals that separate good players from great ones. I work closely with athletes to improve footwork, hand placement, leverage, and overall technique—especially in the trenches where small details make a big difference.

In our sessions, we’ll focus on building proper mechanics, increasing confidence, and improving football IQ so athletes can understand the game and react faster on the field. I also emphasize discipline, effort, and consistency because those habits are what truly lead to long-term success.

Whether you're a young athlete learning the basics or a player looking to refine your skills and gain an edge, my goal is to help you become stronger, more confident, and more effective every time you step onto the field.

What a typical training session looks like with me:

A typical training session with me is built around developing complete athletes through fundamentals, movement, and position-specific work. We start with a dynamic warm-up to improve mobility, activate key muscle groups, and prepare the body to move efficiently and safely.

From there, we focus on footwork, balance, and movement drills that translate directly to football performance—especially for linemen who need quick feet, strong positioning, and explosive power in tight spaces. Athletes will work through technique drills that emphasize leverage, hand placement, body control, and proper mechanics in the trenches.

We also incorporate strength and functional training using tools like kettlebells, bodyweight exercises, and resistance work to build power, stability, and durability. Every drill is designed with game situations in mind so athletes can apply what they learn directly on the field.

Each session ends with competitive or reaction-based drills that challenge athletes mentally and physically, helping them develop confidence, toughness, and the ability to perform under pressure.

My goal is for every athlete to leave a session feeling more confident, more skilled, and better prepared for game day.

• Former Division I Offensive Lineman at the North Carolina Tar Heels Football

• Team Captain at the University of North Carolina

• Named All-ACC (2019) in the Atlantic Coast Conference

• Earned All-ACC Honorable Mention (2021) in the Atlantic Coast Conference

• Signed as a Priority Free Agent with the Pittsburgh Steelers

• Spent two professional seasons with the Saskatchewan Roughriders in the Canadian Football League

Best coach I ever had:

The best coach I ever had was my personal offensive line coach, Vince Vance. Coach Vance played a huge role in my development as both a player and a person. He emphasized mastering the fundamentals—footwork, leverage, hand placement, and discipline in the trenches—and taught me that consistency and attention to detail separate good players from great ones.

Beyond the technical side of the game, he instilled a mindset of toughness, accountability, and constant improvement. Many of the lessons he taught me throughout my career are the same principles I bring into my own training sessions today when working with athletes.

What athletes and parents should know about me:

Football has given me opportunities to compete at the Division I and professional levels, but the most important lessons I’ve taken from the game are discipline, accountability, and hard work. Those are the same values I bring into every training session.

When athletes train with me, they’re getting someone who understands what it takes to compete at a high level and who genuinely cares about their development. I focus on building strong fundamentals, confidence, and a deep understanding of the game so players can continue improving long after our sessions.

For parents, my goal is to create a positive and challenging training environment where athletes feel supported, motivated, and pushed to reach their potential. I take pride in mentoring young athletes and helping them grow not just as football players, but as hardworking and confident individuals.

Frequently Asked Questions

If you’re looking to message a coach for the first time, go to their profile and click “Send a Message”. A type box will show, where you can enter and send your message. To follow up with a coach you've already contacted, log into your account and find the 'Inbox' tab. You'll see your message history and be able to send another note.

Once you find a coach that fits your needs, go to their profile, select the package you'd like to purchase, and click 'Book Lessons'. Here, you can reserve your desired number of lessons along with the number of athletes who will be training. After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.

Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!

We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.

Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.

Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.
