Athletic Background
Summary of Career and Accomplishments
I started my college career at Stetson University, a Division 1 FCS program, where I was awarded All-Pioneer League Academic honors. I then transferred to The College of New Jersey where I lost two seasons due to injury and the Covid-19 pandemic before getting the opportunity to start my senior year. Though my college career was cut short, I learned valuable football knowledge which I believe can help bring any young quarterback’s game to the next level.
Who is the best coach you ever had and why?
The best coach I ever had was Rob Curley. Coach Curley was a former NFL Europe quarterback who had many tryouts for NFL teams. He truly slowed the game down for me by helping me dissect coverages so I was always one step ahead of the defense.
What should athletes and parents know about you?
Athletes and parents should know I am a perfectionist. I will help your child perfect his craft by first starting with the simple things, such as his throwing mechanics, his points while throwing, footwork, etc. No matter what level I was at, I was always told to focus on the basics because that is what will help you succeed most.
Coaching Background
Summary of Coaching Background
I am currently the assistant offensive coordinator/Quarterback coach at the Junior College football level for the New Jersey Warriors. I plan to coach there in the fall before exploring other coaching positions at the college level.
How can you help someone improve their game?
I can help someone improve their game by fixing mechanics, improving footwork, and helping them understand coverages which makes the game so much simpler.
What does a typical training session look like?
A typical training session starts with a 5-10 minute stretch. Once complete we will warm up our arms. During this time, I will study the athlete’s mechanics to make sure the throwing motion is efficient. After, we will do ladder work to improve footwork before working on numerous other drills. Sessions will change as I am able to get more time with athletes so I can focus on what they need to improve on most.
