How I can help you improve your game:

My training philosophy is built on two key principles: refining strengths and improving weaknesses. Every athlete has unique abilities, and my goal is to maximize their potential by focusing on both aspects of their game.

- Breaking Down Weaknesses – I identify the areas that need improvement and develop targeted drills to enhance those skills, ensuring well-rounded player development.

- Perfecting Strengths – If a player already excels in certain areas, I work to fine-tune and perfect those skills to make them even more dominant on the court.

- Tailored to Body Type – I assess size, weight, and mobility to shape a player’s game in a way that complements their physical attributes. This approach allows athletes to play to their strengths rather than forcing them into a style that doesn’t fit.

My goal is to develop well-rounded, confident players who understand how to maximize their abilities while continuously improving all aspects of their game.

What a typical training session looks like with me:

My training sessions are designed to maximize player development by balancing skill refinement, targeted improvement, and in-game application. Each 60-minute session is structured as follows:

- First 10 Minutes – Fundamentals Focus

Ball handling or form shooting, depending on the workout’s focus.

Ensuring proper mechanics and building consistency.

- Next 30 Minutes – Improving Weaknesses

Breaking down the areas where the athlete struggles.

Explaining why these skills are important and how improving them can benefit their overall game.

Tailoring drills to turn weaknesses into assets.

- Next 10 Minutes – Perfecting Strengths

Refining and fine-tuning the aspects of the game the athlete is already confident in.

Ensuring consistency and efficiency in their strengths.

- Last 10 Minutes – Game Application

Shooting drills or live play to apply the skills worked on.

Assessing how well improvements translate into real-game scenarios.

Evaluating progress and identifying next steps for development.

- By focusing on both weaknesses and strengths while tailoring training to each athlete’s body type and playing style, I help players build confidence, consistency, and a game that fits their natural abilities.

Career summary and accomplishments:

M14 Hoops Noblesville: - Assisted in managing camps and sessions offered to the community, focusing on skill development for young athletes. - Coached rising young basketball players aging from 3rd grade to college through methods of high intensity training. - Obtained certification as a personal trainer. Frontier Jr/Sr High School Lead Assistant Coach: - Assigned the role of Offensive Coordinator, responsible for making play calls, managing in-game substitutions, and assisting players with individual skill development. - Provide training, guidance, and motivation to prepare athletes for competitive events. - Work to promote sportsmanship, respect, and integrity both on and off the court. - Collaborate with fellow coaches to develop team strategies and enhance overall performance. - Analyze competitor strategies to gain a competitive edge by organizing film sessions with the team.

Best coach I ever had:

The best high school coach I ever had was Jordan Stevens. He came to my high school my freshman year and was with me all four years. He helped me transform my game and was very honest with me when it came to trying to play at the next level. He was the one that made it very transparent and made me see on what I had to do to improve and become the player I am today. He helped me have a better outlook not just on the game, but in life by really shaping the way he does things to help leave an impact on me that'll I'll never forget.

I firmly believe that what athletes are willing to put in is exactly what they will get out of their training. Success in basketball and in life is built on effort, discipline, and commitment to improvement. My goal is to help athletes understand the level of work required to reach their full potential and achieve their individual goals.

Transparency is at the core of my training approach. I am committed to being honest and open with both athletes and their parents, ensuring that we are always on the same page. This not only fosters trust but also creates a clear path for growth and development.

Every athlete has a unique journey, and I strive to accommodate different schedules and needs. Flexibility is key, and I am always willing to work around commitments to provide the best training experience possible. My ultimate mission is to develop skilled, confident players who understand what it truly takes to succeed at the next level.

If you’re looking to message a coach for the first time, go to their profile and click “Send a Message”. A type box will show, where you can enter and send your message. To follow up with a coach you've already contacted, log into your account and find the 'Inbox' tab. You'll see your message history and be able to send another note.

Once you find a coach that fits your needs, go to their profile, select the package you'd like to purchase, and click 'Book Lessons'. Here, you can reserve your desired number of lessons along with the number of athletes who will be training. After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.

Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!

We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.

Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.

Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.

The AU guarantee (refund policy) has you covered! If you determine the coach isn't a good fit after your first lesson, let us know within 24 hours and you're eligible for a refund. We will also be happy to recommend another coach - be sure to contact our support team.
