Athletic Background
Summary of Career and Accomplishments
I have a strong background in softball, having played both travel and high school ball, and I’ve built on that experience by volunteering as a coach to help develop young athletes. Currently, I serve as the Assistant Director of Football Operations at Bethune-Cookman University, where I bring my passion for sports and leadership to the collegiate level.
Who is the best coach you ever had and why?
The best coach I ever had was Will Hooper because he pushed us to our full potential and never gave up on us. His belief in our abilities made a lasting impact on me as both a player and a person.
What should athletes and parents know about you?
Athletes and parents should know that I bring a balance of fun and focus to every training session. I believe in making the experience enjoyable while ensuring that every minute is productive and worth the investment. I’m dedicated to helping athletes reach their full potential by tailoring each session to their needs and goals. My hands-on approach, clear communication, and encouragement create a positive environment where players feel supported and motivated. Most importantly, I’m passionate about building confidence, strong fundamentals, and a love for the game that lasts well beyond our time together.
Coaching Background
Summary of Coaching Background
How can you help someone improve their game?
I’m very hands-on and encouraging, ensuring that every player feels supported while working toward their goals. I focus on creating a positive, structured environment where athletes can thrive. I’m detail-oriented, providing constructive feedback tailored to individual needs, and I’m passionate about instilling both confidence and discipline in players. My goal is to help athletes not only improve their technical skills but also their mental toughness, game IQ, and overall love for the sport.
What does a typical training session look like?
A typical training session starts with a dynamic warm-up to prepare the body for movement and prevent injury. Depending on the individual’s specific goals, we might focus on hitting techniques, working on bat speed, swing mechanics, and pitch recognition, or fielding practice to enhance footwork, glove work, and throwing accuracy. We’ll also incorporate drills to improve reaction time, agility, and overall athleticism. I like to include situational gameplay scenarios to build game IQ and decision-making under pressure. Each session wraps up with a review of progress and feedback, ensuring the athlete leaves feeling confident and motivated.
