Building confident athletes and even stronger people.
With a background in both competitive athletics and Applied Psychology, I’m passionate about helping young athletes grow on and off the court. I combine technical skill development with encouragement, leadership, and confidence building to create a positive environment where athletes feel challenged, supported, and excited to improve. My goal is for every player to leave not only as a better athlete, but as a more confident person.
Every athlete learns differently, so every lesson is built around your individual goals.
Whether you’re looking to improve passing, serving, defense, hitting, communication, game IQ, or overall confidence, I’ll create sessions that challenge you while helping you enjoy the process. My psychology background has taught me that confidence is built through encouragement, repetition, and learning from mistakes, so I strive to create an environment where athletes feel comfortable asking questions, trying new things, and growing every session
Every lesson starts with a conversation about your goals and what you’d like to improve.
From there, we’ll focus on one or two key skills through purposeful drills, game like situations, and plenty of feedback along the way. I keep sessions positive, energetic, and encouraging while maintaining high expectations. My goal is for every athlete to leave knowing exactly what they improved, what to work on next, and feeling more confident than when they arrived.

I don’t think I had just one great coach. I was fortunate to have several who shaped me in different ways, and each left a lasting impact on who I am as both an athlete and a coach.
My softball coach growing up was incredibly disciplined and held us to high standards. At the time, it wasn’t always easy, but looking back, I’m grateful for every lesson. He taught me accountability, self discipline, resilience, and how to handle the responsibility that comes with being successful at something others are working just as hard to achieve.
My high school volleyball coach recognized that one of my greatest strengths wasn’t just my athletic ability, but how I thought about the game. As a libero, I was always reading the court, anticipating what would happen next, and communicating with my teammates before the play unfolded. He helped me develop those instincts into leadership, teaching me how to communicate effectively, earn my teammates’ trust, and use my voice to make everyone around me better. Those same qualities also made catcher one of my favorite positions in softball, where leadership and proactive thinking are just as important.
During my senior year, we were coached by a retired coach who returned to lead our program. She brought an old school mentality that challenged us to raise our standard every single day. She emphasized fundamentals, discipline, and accountability, but more importantly, she taught us that great teams are built when every player understands the entire game, not just their own position. She transformed us from a group of talented individuals into a team that trusted one another and competed together.
Each of these coaches taught me something different, and I carry those lessons into every session I coach. My goal is to help athletes become not only more skilled players, but confident leaders, supportive teammates, and resilient young people who can succeed both on and off the court.
My goal isn’t just to help athletes become better volleyball players. I want to help them become confident, responsible young adults who know how to advocate for themselves both in sports and in life.
One of the biggest skills I hope to teach is communication. I want athletes to learn how to respectfully ask questions, communicate with their coaches, seek feedback, and take ownership of their own development rather than relying on parents to speak for them. Learning how to say, “What can I do to earn more playing time?” or “What should I work on before next practice?” is a skill that will benefit them far beyond athletics.
I also believe sports are one of the best places to develop responsibility. I’ll encourage athletes to manage their schedules, come prepared, be accountable for their effort, and understand that growth comes from consistently doing more than what’s expected. These habits carry over into school, careers, relationships, and everyday life.
Parents can expect open communication, honesty, encouragement, and a coach who genuinely cares about their child’s development as both an athlete and a person. My hope is that every athlete leaves our time together with stronger skills, greater confidence, and the tools to lead themselves long after the final whistle.

Once you find a coach that fits your needs, go to their profile, select the package you'd like to purchase, and click 'Book Lessons'. Here, you can reserve your desired number of lessons along with the number of athletes who will be training. After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.
Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!
We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.
Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.
Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.
