Who is the best coach you ever had and why?
Phillip Eades was my U17 coach at B1903 in Copenhagen, Denmark. He taught me football is much more important and has much more to it then what you can do with your feet or how fast you can run. He taught me at least 50% of a good player is mental and respectful. He helped me become a better player and a better young man and has inspired me to be who I am today as a player, student, coach, and man. He is currently the head director at AB Argir in the Faroe Islands.
What should athletes and parents know about you?
My approach focuses on personalized training tailored to each athlete’s goals, emphasizing technical skills, tactical understanding, physical fitness, and mental resilience. As someone who has navigated the pathway from youth leagues to professional and collegiate soccer, I’m passionate about helping players unlock their full potential both on and off the field.
Coaching Background
Summary of Coaching Background
How can you help someone improve their game?
I focus on identifying an athlete’s strengths and areas for improvement, then tailoring training to their specific needs. Whether it’s developing technical skills like ball control, passing accuracy, and finishing, enhancing tactical understanding, or improving physical attributes like speed, strength, and endurance, my sessions are designed to build well-rounded players. I also emphasize mental aspects, such as confidence, decision-making, and game awareness, helping athletes excel under pressure and in competitive environments.
What does a typical training session look like?
A typical session starts with a dynamic warm-up to prevent injuries and prepare the body for performance. Next, we focus on technical drills tailored to the player’s position and goals, such as dribbling, shooting, or defensive positioning. We’ll then work on tactical scenarios, like 1 v1s or positional play, to enhance decision-making and teamwork. Each session is high-energy, focused, and designed to challenge players while keeping them motivated and engaged.
