I have a strong background in track and field, having competed as a middle-distance runner at Dallas Baptist University for five years. Specializing in the 800 meters, I achieved personal records of 1:48.6 in the 800 meters and 3:49.4 in the 1500 meters. My dedication and performance earned me the title of NCAA 2nd-Team All-American and Lone Star Conference Indoor Champion. Additionally, I qualified for the USATF Indoor Track and Field Championships.
I can help someone improve their game by providing personalized coaching tailored to their specific needs and goals. I’ll start with a thorough assessment of their current performance level, identifying strengths and areas for improvement. Based on the assessment, I’ll create a customized training plan that targets key areas for development, ensuring a balanced approach to training. I’ll focus on refining their technique, offering tips and drills to enhance their form and efficiency. Additionally, I’ll incorporate mental conditioning strategies to boost their confidence, focus, and resilience. Regularly tracking progress and adjusting the training plan as needed will ensure continuous improvement. Emphasizing overall well-being, including nutrition, recovery, and injury prevention, will support long-term success. By combining these elements, I aim to help athletes reach their full potential and achieve their goals.
A typical training session with me is structured yet flexible to meet the athlete’s needs. We start with a dynamic warm-up to prepare the body for the workout. This includes light jogging, mobility exercises, and dynamic drills to replicate what will be required for sprinting/running.
Next, we move into the main workout, which varies depending on the athlete’s goals and training phase. For middle-distance runners, this might include interval training, tempo runs, or speed work. I provide specific drills to improve technique and efficiency.
Throughout the session, I offer real-time feedback and adjustments to ensure proper form and maximize performance. We also incorporate mental conditioning exercises to build focus and resilience.
After the main workout, we cool down with light jogging and static stretching to aid recovery. I emphasize the importance of nutrition and hydration post-session and provide tips for maintaining overall well-being.
Each session is designed to be challenging yet supportive, helping athletes progress towards their goals while enjoying the process.
During my sixth year at DBU, I served as a Graduate Assistant Coach, where I led practices, managed team travel, and paced workouts. Since graduating in May 2023, I have continued to stay involved in the sport by volunteering at UT Tyler, maintaining my fitness, and striving for new personal records. My journey reflects a deep passion for track and field and a commitment to excellence both as an athlete and a coach.
The best coach I ever had was my college coach. He cared about me as more than just an athlete, pushing me to excel not only in sports but also in academics and other aspects of life. His holistic approach helped me become a well-rounded individual, and his genuine concern for my overall development made a lasting impact on me.
Athletes and parents should know that I am deeply committed to fostering both athletic and personal growth. With experience as an athlete at various levels, I bring firsthand knowledge and a passion for sport, athletic performance, and personal development.

If you’re looking to message a coach for the first time, go to their profile and click “Send a Message”. A type box will show, where you can enter and send your message. To follow up with a coach you've already contacted, log into your account and find the 'Inbox' tab. You'll see your message history and be able to send another note.
Once you find a coach that fits your needs, go to their profile, select the package you'd like to purchase, and click 'Book Lessons'. Here, you can reserve your desired number of lessons along with the number of athletes who will be training. After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.
Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!
We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.
Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.
Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.
The AU guarantee (refund policy) has you covered! If you determine the coach isn't a good fit after your first lesson, let us know within 24 hours and you're eligible for a refund. We will also be happy to recommend another coach - be sure to contact our support team.
Our coaches are open to helping athletes of any age and skill level. Please message your desired coach to ensure their skillset fits your needs.
