"I’ve spent the last 30 years testing myself in some of the toughest arenas out there. I grew up on the wrestling mats, winning four state titles in two states and competing at a world-class level in combat sports. Later, I jumped from the high-impact world of Division I collegiate Rugby to Division I regional Club Side Rugby 7s and 15s. Later, I wanted to prove my system to others, so I took on the Marathon distance, where I coached myself to a Boston Marathon qualification in just three years.
But for me, it was never just about the trophies. Those sports were where I proved to myself who I was, especially while navigating a difficult upbringing and family life. I learned that staying true to yourself isn't just a nice idea—it’s how you survive and win when things get heavy.

1. Finding Your "True North"
First, we’ll get to know one another. We’ll build the understanding and trust we’ll need to work as a team. Doing this will allow you to fill me in on who your are and how you know it to be true.
Most athletes have a "distorted image" in their head—that voice or photo that says "I’m not good enough" or "I am not sure of myself" when things get hard. We’re going to find that moment and replace it with your "Red Thread"—a simple, truth about who you are that stays solid whether you win or lose.
2. Training in the "Dark Room"
Our live video sessions aren’t just about reps and sets. I’m going to intentionally lead you into what I call the "Ground Zero"—that moment in a tough workout where your body is unsure / in doubt and your mind starts to panic.
• The Goal: Instead of just "suffering" through it, I’ll coach you in real-time to catch those negative or distorted thoughts and pivot back to your "True North."
• The Result: You learn to stay calm and stay you, even when your heart is racing and your lungs are burning.
3. Your Daily Game Plan
Between our calls, you’ll have assignments delivered through a community support group and matched groups and personal 1:1 sessions that bridge the gap between "working out" and "living with purpose":
• The Body Check: We’ll track your sleep and stress. If you aren't recovering, you aren't growing. I’ll show you how to treat your rest as a "non-negotiable" part of your training.
• The Proof Log: After your solo workouts, you’ll jot down one moment where you won the battle in your head. This builds a folder of evidence that you are becoming the athlete you want to be.

Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!
