About Me:

I am a football and basketball coach with multiple years of experience working with athletes at different stages of development. I have coached at the youth and high school levels, with a strong focus on fundamentals, discipline, confidence, and mental performance.

I believe coaching is bigger than teaching drills. It is about helping athletes become more consistent, mentally tough, coachable, and prepared for competition. Every athlete develops differently, so I try to meet players where they are while still challenging them to improve.

How I can help you improve your game:

I can help athletes improve their football or basketball fundamentals, position-specific technique, footwork, body control, confidence, and overall game IQ.

For football, I focus on stance, first step, leverage, hand placement, route discipline, tackling form, pursuit angles, field vision, and game awareness.

For basketball, I focus on ball handling, footwork, shooting mechanics, finishing, defense, movement without the ball, decision-making, conditioning, and confidence.

I also help athletes with the mental side of sports, including focus, confidence, handling mistakes, staying composed under pressure, responding to coaching, and building consistent practice habits.

What a typical training session looks like with me:

A typical session starts with a warmup, movement work, and athletic development. From there, we move into sport-specific and position-specific drills based on the athlete’s goals and needs.

For football, that may include footwork, reaction drills, route work, tackling fundamentals, leverage work, or position-specific movement.

For basketball, that may include ball handling, shooting reps, finishing drills, defensive slides, footwork, conditioning, or game-situation decision-making.

Every session includes teaching, repetition, correction, and a short review at the end. I want athletes to understand the “why” behind each drill so the training carries over into real games.

Career summary and accomplishments:

I have coached football and basketball, including experience working with athletes at the youth and high school levels. My coaching background has allowed me to help players improve their skills, confidence, discipline, and understanding of the game.

I take pride in being part of program cultures that value hard work, accountability, development, and teamwork. My biggest accomplishment as a coach is seeing athletes grow, not only as players, but as young people who become more confident, responsible, and committed.

Best coach I ever had:

The best coaches I have had were the ones who cared about more than wins and losses. They taught discipline, accountability, toughness, preparation, and attention to detail. They knew how to push players while still making them feel supported.

Those coaches shaped the way I coach today. I try to be honest, direct, encouraging, and consistent. I want athletes to know that I care about their development as players, but also about their confidence, mindset, and growth as people.

What athletes and parents should know about me:

Athletes and parents should know that I take development seriously. I will be patient, but I will also hold athletes accountable. I believe confidence is built through preparation, repetition, and honest feedback.

I care about the mental side of sports just as much as the physical side. Athletes need to learn how to handle pressure, mistakes, frustration, competition, and adversity. My goal is to help each athlete improve their game while also becoming more disciplined, confident, and mentally strong.

Frequently Asked Questions

If you’re looking to message a coach for the first time, go to their profile and click “Send a Message”. A type box will show, where you can enter and send your message. To follow up with a coach you've already contacted, log into your account and find the 'Inbox' tab. You'll see your message history and be able to send another note.

Once you find a coach that fits your needs, go to their profile, select the package you'd like to purchase, and click 'Book Lessons'. Here, you can reserve your desired number of lessons along with the number of athletes who will be training. After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.

Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!

We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.

Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.

Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.
