Elite Strength, Speed & Conditioning Training for Athletes of All Levels

I’m a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) with over 12 years of experience coaching athletes from the youth level all the way to Division I athletics, professional sports, and tactical military performance. My specialty is helping athletes improve strength, speed, explosiveness, movement quality, conditioning, and overall athletic performance in a way that directly transfers to competition. I’ve coached athletes across football, baseball, softball, soccer, basketball, lacrosse, rugby, tennis, swimming, hockey, golf, and more through roles with the University of Texas Football program, University of Utah, University of North Carolina, USA Rugby, and the United States Army’s Human Performance program supporting the 82nd Airborne Division. My coaching style is individualized, high-energy, and focused on long-term athlete development. Whether you’re a young athlete building fundamentals, a high school athlete preparing for the next level, or an experienced competitor looking for an edge, I aim to provide structured, evidence-based training that helps athletes perform better while staying healthy and confident.

About Me:

I’ve spent the last decade coaching athletes in collegiate athletics, professional performance settings, and tactical human performance environments. I currently work as a Tactical Human Performance Specialist supporting the United States Army and the 82nd Airborne Division, where I design and implement strength and conditioning programs for military personnel.

Before that, I coached in Division I athletics with programs including the University of Texas Football, University of Utah, University of North Carolina, University of Arizona, University of Denver, University of Minnesota, Campbell University, and USA Rugby. Throughout my career, I’ve worked with athletes from a wide range of sports and backgrounds, which has helped shape a coaching style that emphasizes movement quality, athletic development, discipline, and confidence.

I’m passionate about helping athletes maximize their potential while creating training environments that are challenging, supportive, and enjoyable.

How I can help you improve your game:

My role is to help athletes become faster, stronger, more explosive, more resilient, and more confident in their sport.

Training with me focuses on:

Speed and acceleration development

Strength and power training

Agility and change of direction

Injury reduction and movement quality

Conditioning and work capacity

Mobility and recovery strategies

Long-term athletic development

I tailor programs to the athlete’s age, sport, training history, goals, and current needs. Whether you’re trying to make varsity, prepare for college athletics, return from injury, or simply become a more complete athlete, I’ll build a plan designed specifically for you.

What a typical training session looks like with me:

Sessions are structured, high-energy, and designed with purpose. Depending on the athlete and goals, a typical session may include:

Dynamic warm-up and movement prep

Sprint mechanics or speed work

Jumping, power, or agility training

Strength training and athletic development

Conditioning or energy system work

Mobility and recovery exercises

I prioritize proper technique, effort, communication, and progression while keeping sessions challenging and engaging. My goal is for athletes to leave every session feeling like they improved and learned something valuable.

Best coach I ever had:

The best coaches I’ve had as an athlete myself, or have worked for or with over the years were demanding, consistent, and genuinely invested in helping people improve both on and off the field. They created environments that pushed athletes to high standards while still building trust and relationships.

Those experiences shaped the way I coach today. I believe great coaching is about more than just workouts - it’s about communication, accountability, confidence, and helping athletes develop habits that carry over into every area of life.

What athletes and parents should know about me:

Athletes and parents should know that I truly care about long-term development and doing things the right way. I prioritize safety, technique, communication, and building confidence just as much as performance results.

I believe training should be challenging but also positive and motivating. My goal is to help athletes improve physically while also teaching discipline, consistency, work ethic, and confidence that carries over beyond sports.

I also understand that every athlete is different. I take pride in creating individualized coaching experiences based on the athlete’s goals, experience level, and needs rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach.

Frequently Asked Questions

If you’re looking to message a coach for the first time, go to their profile and click “Send a Message”. A type box will show, where you can enter and send your message. To follow up with a coach you've already contacted, log into your account and find the 'Inbox' tab. You'll see your message history and be able to send another note.

Once you find a coach that fits your needs, go to their profile, select the package you'd like to purchase, and click 'Book Lessons'. Here, you can reserve your desired number of lessons along with the number of athletes who will be training. After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.

Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!

We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.

Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.

Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.

  • Good Fit Guarantee — If your first lesson isn't the right fit, we'll move your lesson credit to a new coach. No hassle.

  • Easy rescheduling — Cancel or reschedule up to 4 hours before a lesson, no questions asked.

  • Coach no-shows — You'll be fully credited and we'll help you find a replacement.

  • Flexible credits — Unused lessons last 12 months and can be used with any coach on the platform.

AU was created by former college and pro athletes. We understand the benefits of training with a private coach. It develops discipline, boosts confidence, and provides an undeniable advantage - whether you are just learning the game or looking to earn a college scholarship. All AU coaches are required to pass a thorough onboarding process + background check, so you can trust you're training with the best.

At the end of the day, our mission is to provide athletes with better opportunities to succeed through coaching. You won't find a platform, and group of dedicated specialists, more excited to help you achieve your athletic goals!
