You should train with me for a few reasons. One I specialize in shooting and dribbling. Two I have been playing basketball for a long time and been through a lot of ups and downs during my career so I will be able to show and teach my clients what to do on and off the court. Lastly, I truly love this game, and I want to help my clients be as successful as possible.

I played varsity basketball in high school all four years and was named the best shooter.
I played AAU basketball from 8th grade to my senior year of high school and won a championship and went to a few championship games.
I played 1 year of post graduate basketball and shot over 40% from 3.
I played 4 years of college basketball and averaged 16 ppg 6 Ast and 2 steals a game.
I can help some improve their game by one teaching them the fundamentals of the game of basketball, teach them my specialties which is shooting and dribbling, and lastly help them improve on what they need to help specifically to them.
What A typical training session will look like for me is to stretch and warm up the body first. Then I will get into ball handling drills and form shooting. After that we will work on moves that translate to the game and whatever the athlete needs to work on. Lastly, we will need the session with conditioning shooting drills that ends with free throws because shooting in the game of basketball is essential.
I coached at my church through a program called Upward basketball where I taught kids how to become better at the game of basketball through fundamentals. I also helped trained high school players with my personal friend named Coach will who is a basketball trainer himself.
The best coach I had was my AAU coach which was my dad. I say this because he taught me what it means to be a real athlete and a real man. I have had some good coaches over the years of my career but none like my dad who not only cares for me but also taught me the game the right way.
What athletes and parents should know about me is that I truly love this game and want to see all athletes and parents be successful in this game. My goal for my athletes and parents is to teach and help be successful not only in basketball but in life.

If you’re looking to message a coach for the first time, go to their profile and click “Send a Message”. A type box will show, where you can enter and send your message. To follow up with a coach you've already contacted, log into your account and find the 'Inbox' tab. You'll see your message history and be able to send another note.
Once you find a coach that fits your needs, go to their profile, select the package you'd like to purchase, and click 'Book Lessons'. Here, you can reserve your desired number of lessons along with the number of athletes who will be training. After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.
Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!
We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.
Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.
Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.
The AU guarantee (refund policy) has you covered! If you determine the coach isn't a good fit after your first lesson, let us know within 24 hours and you're eligible for a refund. We will also be happy to recommend another coach - be sure to contact our support team.
