In order to grow the game of tennis, we must help the current and future generation enjoy this lifetime sport for years to come! My passion is to help you reach whatever goals you have in tennis, whether it is a junior player aiming to become a state champion or become a collegiate athlete, to former players looking for a great cardio workout or adult USTA players looking for an advantage to get to Nationals! I also enjoy introducing the sport to beginners of all ages, as long as they are willing to laugh along the way.

Josh Molino has been named head coach of Florida Gulf Coast University's men's tennis program.
"I'm excited to welcome Josh Molino to FGCU as the next leader and coach of our men's tennis program," said Colin Hargis, FGCU director of intercollegiate athletics. "Coach Molino has a proven track record as a coach and brings a wealth of experience to our men's program. His energy and style will be a great fit for the culture of FGCU Athletics."
Molino's career has already seen significant success with the University of Tulsa winning the 2024 UTR Sports NIT Championship, two first team All-AAC Selections and an NCAA singles qualifier in Pierce Rollins. In his head coaching stop at Kansas Wesleyan University, Molino won multiple awards including the 2022 Wilson ITA NAIA Central Region Men's Coach of the Year.
"First off, I want to thank President Aysegul Timur, Athletic Director Colin Hargis and Deputy AD Graham Diemer for the opportunity to lead the men's tennis program here at FGCU," Molino said. "I'm extremely honored and excited to be part of such a prestigious university that excels in both academics and athletics. Our men will be models in the community of Southwest Florida, in the classroom at FGCU and on the court representing the Atlantic Sun Conference. Wings Up!"
Molino comes to Southwest Florida after serving as Tulsa's assistant men's tennis coach since June 2023. The Golden Hurricane were one of the best mid-major programs in the country last season, consistently placing in the ITA top 25 mid-major rankings. Molino helped guide Tulsa to the NIT Championship after securing the No. 1 seed in the tournament and only dropping two courts over the three matches that included wins over No. 51 Pacific University and No. 55 Santa Clara University. Molino's squad also earned wins over No. 31 Princeton University and No. 43 Southern Methodist University.
Prior to his year with Tulsa, Molino got his start in collegiate coaching at Kansas Wesleyan, where he won multiple awards including the 2022 Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference Coach of the Year, 2022 Wilson ITA NAIA Central Region Men's Coach of the Year, 2021-22 USPTA Missouri Valley Collegiate Coach of the Year and 2019 USTA Missouri Kansas High Performance Coach of the Year.
His leadership in the NAIA tennis ranks extended off the court as a member on the following committees:
• 2023 ITA NAIA Co-Chair of the Operating Committee
• 2023 NAIA Vice-President of the Tennis Executive Committee
• 2023 NAIA KCAC Tennis Sport Chair
• 2022 - 2023 ITA NAIA National Awards Chair
• 2021 - 2022 NAIA ARC-Area Ratings Committee Chair, Central
• 2019 - 2023 ITA NAIA Men's National Rankings Chair
• 2019 - 2022 NAIA KCAC National Rater
Molino graduated from the University of Central Florida with a bachelor's degree in sport and fitness.
The most important part of coaching is to connect with the player/athlete. Find something that works, a style of communicating, a common passion, a WHY. Once we have a connection we can work together to try and reach whatever goals they have. If they know I have their best interest in mind, we can build together!
Depending on what goals a player has, we can structure a plan around how to best reach them. We will always:
Warmup drills/basket feeding-15 minutes
Skill building/strategy or technique-15 minutes
Specific stroke/technique-15 minutes
Drill game/point play-15 minutes
I will build out a lesson plan based on your needs and wants.
I have coached, taught, and worked in all areas of the tennis industry. From recreational beginner adults and juniors to high school boys and girls teams, to national elite junior players, to elite collegiate programs and back to tiny tots and red ball. No player is too good nor not good enough to be on the court. Wings Up and Fly like an Eagle!
I was lucky enough to have both parents in the tennis industry for over 45 years! Both had very unique experiences in the sport, and had the good fortune of traveling the world, coaching professionals and creating lifelong friendships. If I could pick one coach that I admire and try to emulate, its actually a football coach, the great Nick Saban. I believe he cares about the player first, creates a relationship of trust and then he builds the athlete on and off the field.
I'm very passionate about sports, football, baseball, tennis, etc. I enjoy being able to give back advice, professional expertise on the game that has given me so much. I will do my best to make our time together something to look forward to each week, whether its a competitive session or just fun cardio outdoors.

Book and schedule your lessons through our platform.
Meet your coach in-person or virtually, and start chasing down your goals!
If you’re looking to message a coach for the first time, go to their profile and click “Send a Message”. A type box will show, where you can enter and send your message. To follow up with a coach you've already contacted, log into your account and find the 'Inbox' tab. You'll see your message history and be able to send another note.
Once you find a coach that fits your needs, go to their profile, select the package you'd like to purchase, and click 'Book Lessons'. Here, you can reserve your desired number of lessons along with the number of athletes who will be training. After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.
Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!
We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.
Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.
Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.
The AU guarantee (refund policy) has you covered! If you determine the coach isn't a good fit after your first lesson, let us know within 24 hours and you're eligible for a refund. We will also be happy to recommend another coach - be sure to contact our support team.
Our coaches are open to helping athletes of any age and skill level. Please message your desired coach to ensure their skillset fits your needs.
AU was created by former collegiate and professional athletes. We understand the benefits of training with a private coach. It develops discipline, boosts confidence, and provides an undeniable advantage - whether you are just learning the game or looking to earn a college scholarship. All AU coaches are required to pass a thorough onboarding process and we proudly showcase a 10% acceptance rate, so you can trust you're training with the best.
At the end of the day, our mission is to provide athletes with better opportunities to succeed through coaching. You won't find a platform, and group of dedicated specialists, more excited to help you achieve your athletic goals!
